So what am I missing? What is it that makes Robinson the "clear" favorite?

So Alexandra Hays is declared in the 10,000 for the East Regional. I asked about her earlier and she evidently sustained and injury at the Raleigh Relays where she qualified by finishing 3rd in 33:15. That was two months ago. Is Hays really going to be on the starting line this weekend?
Are there going to be two heats of the 10K? If so, talk about watching paint drying.

I assume they think she can run since they declared her, although I believe the medical scratch date was yesterday. Heat sheets should come out late today. Last year there was one heat in 10,000.
As to why they would have the west regionals in the middle of nowhere? A hard to get to place which also happens to be happening on the same weekend as Walmart's big convention? Brilliant!!
katelyn tuohy's 4:06 1500m race vids on youtube now has 190,000 views in just 8 days!! 102k from ktf and 88k from the other channel, more than any college or pro distance runner's race vids and more than any of sound running's race vids
im a fan of kt but the continuous spike of the stats lately is very overwhelming, and how engaged and invested people are on katelyn's career and journey, and now i feel like i have some sort of responsibility to the fans
