I noticed an unfamiliar name, Cameron Proceviat, a Canadian in 2nd with a 3:52.5. This is a guy for years with a 3:44 pr who dropped it down to 3:37/3:57 outdoors last year, and ran 7:47 3k this winter. That is a huge drop! That is awesome at 29.
My god. I just watched that video and am officially depressed.
If a tree falls in a forest and know one is there, does it make a noise?
Shouldn't you do it in front a UK audience or something?
What is the point of going to a trampoline track and running these times in front of zero fans and not even a PA announcer.? Like seriously.
Like shouldn't you announce ahead of time you are going for the record and set up a stream for the world to see - instead of running it at a joke of a meet, with no PA announcer that is behind a paywall?
It reminded me of Alan Webb's 3:46 mile. Sad really.
If G Fisher goes for the AR next week without promoting it, I'm going to get even more depressed,
I'm here for all the cretins that have been calling him overweight and throwing shade at his TT and Armory iMile last month. The dude is legit and some people on this forum are too focused on his BMI rather than their own training.
Jeezus, can people realize that body weight IS a factor in distance running? It just IS, and we don’t need to be such p*ssies talking about it! Would you mention how somebody is looking “strong” and ready to go for a baseball season? Would you mention how J Tatum bulked up after his first few seasons in the NBA? YEAH. Why the hell does it have to be so taboo to mention weight in distance running? It’s part of the gd sport.
And for the record, if Kerr is looking THICC in January who gives an F? Not being 5% body fat makes you way less susceptible to sickness and it’s not peak racing season
Kerr is a muscular miler. My feeling is that the trolls calling him overweight are extremely envious of the guy....super fast yet super strong and muscular. Basically, Kerr could catch any one of these guys then beat the crap out of them. This is what they fear most.
I fear that they would stop calling him overweight, as at that point he would likely have lost a lot of musculature.

He did an interview with Citius to promote it but I didn't see much else. I thought there'd be more in the UK athletics media but there was nothing until after it happened. A real shame but I suppose it got lost a little doing it on the same day as British indoor nationals.
