There is an implication, through many of these posts, that females have more bargaining/complaining power at work, and perhaps abuse that or throw their weight around.
Show me some actual evidence that this is the case, not just all of your anecdotes.
I could rattle off dozens of anecdotes about how males have abused their power in the workplace. Anecdotes are only so useful, and often perpetuate stereotypes that are not helpful and in fact counterproductive.
Again, if this is going to be about males vs females, show me real evidence.
Good post. I feel bad for the OP. Losing a job sucks.
But I thought, "Why is he mentioning her sex? It should just say "co-worker lied and got me fired." I think we as a society focus way too much on someone's sex/race. Focus on the individual action - not the label.
