Remember, this wave it was almost exclusively the unvaxxed that caused these hospitalizations.
If you want to point at finger at someone for prolonging the COVID endgame: it’s the unvaxxed.
This is a fallacy. I live in Ireland, which has some of the highest vaccination rates in the world, but guess what? Cases of covid are at a record high. So what do the unvaccinated have to do with it? The counties with the highest vaccination rates have the highest number of cases, this is a FACT. It's direct proof that vaccinated people spread covid at a higher rate. I suggest you educate yourself a bit better.
I myself have been vaccinated, but won't be getting any boosters. They are a waste of time. Many people here feel the same. What are you going to call us, anti-boosters? Can't call us anti-vaxxers haha.
The Irish example, in my opinion, should really speak to a lot of the people saying we will “vaccinate are way out of this thing”. Ireland is at a 90% vaccination rate among its eligible population and they recently had to reinstate covid restrictions and curfews on pubs and restaurants due to a rapid surge in Covid cases.
When the vaccine got rolled out it was the “anti-vaxxers” being unreasonable believing all kinds of conspiracies about the vaccine. Now, the pendulum has swung the other way and the “pro-vaxxers” are the ones being anti-science and unreasonable essentially burying their head in the sand when it comes to unfortunate examples like Ireland.
The Covid endgame is the death of all the old or unhealthy people on this planet. If you are in good health and have no underlying illnesses prior to getting Covid then you have a very good chance of surviving it. I have noticed that old or unhealthy people in general have a tough time dealing with it. I dont have the numbers it is just what i have witnessed personally.

Wasn't that the plan from the beginnin?

And, of course, to lower everybody’s natural ability to fight this by getting everyone vaccinated. Now, they have you by the b. A lls

nah endgame is using the same measures to "save" the climate. Limitations and lockdowns have been established as valid if benefit in any way for society. The same argumentation will be used to ban you from taking the car or plane to move around.

I don’t know if climate is the only reason but I have noticed that politicians have had a habit of trying to implement certain “pet policies” and use covid recovery as the excuse for doing so (Democrats especially). The “Build Back Better Plan” was just a buffet of social policies under the guise of Covid recovery.
Yes. There is no limit to their sickness. The entire World has caved to the madness over weakness except, by and large, Trump supporters. Hence why they hate them. Can’t control them. Wait till they hit back, gonna get good then.

Trust the science.
It's Darwin albeit a poor man's Darwin. Most people have cold symptoms or are asymptomatic. Let your immunity do the job and not let pharma try to convince you that their artificial gene therapies are better. It's all about $$$ and control.

If covid lingers indefinitely then we're going to eventually succumb to it (or cancer) as we age.

It's mutating into just another cold virus.

I suppose none of you idiots that got vaccinated listened to Geerts Vanden Bosch today. Towards the end of his interview with Del Bigtree he specifically said "Without your innate immunity, you have no chance of survival". Sorry but the vaccine destroys your innate immunity.
That's how Covid will end for all of you vaxxers. As soon as the end of this year. He's been spot on with his March 12 warning. He also said if he's wrong he deserves to be thrown in jail. Guess we'll see. Damn glad I don't have that poison in my body.
You didn't post a link. Geert Vanden Bossche seems credible, but I hate listening to very long videos. I have it on as I type this. So far (40 minutes in...). Here's my takeaway so far.
1. Two types of immunity. Innate: Powerful immune system (like children have) fights disease. Sometimes, they don't even get symptomatic. Naturally Acquired Immunity: Obtained by being infected with Covid.
2. Mass vaccination DURING a pandemic puts pressure on the virus to produce variants.
3. mRNA vaccination reduces innate immunity. (I didn't understand this part. He has a paper to WHO that explains this, but it also was over my head.)
3a. Traditional vaccines boost innate immunity.
4. He didn't say this directly, but mass vaccination would inevitably result in vaccinating persons with an existing covid infection. This infection might be asymptomatic or lingering at a very low level to the point that the person wouldn't know they were infected, but that exposure plus the stress of the vaccine could lead to death or very serious adverse events.
5. He believes that only the elderly and those at high risk should be vaccinated.
I could be misstating his positions. English isn't his native language and he was hard to understand.

The continuing high levels of COVID in a population both highly vaccinated and highly naturally exposed is discouraging to me.
I figured it would peter out after this summer with so much immunity. But I'm starting to see A TON of breakthrough infections. It's obvious we simply don't retain high levels of immunity for long. I didn't see a single breakthrough case until September. Now it's daily.
Fortunately I rarely see a critically ill breakthrough case. All the ICU players are unvaccinated.
As for me, I just live my life. Had COVID. Double vaxxed. I'll get a booster soon. If I get it again, odds of me having problems are next to impossible.
If BT cases aren’t serious then why does anybody GAF about them? We all got colds pre-2019 and the world kept turning.

We missed our chance to control it. In part thanks to antivaxxers and the GQP which has, for reasons unclear, gone all in on the antivaxing.
If we do nothing, we'll get what we get, and it won't be pretty. Many, many people are simply not going to "go back to normal" because they posses common sense. Therefore, life as we know it has changed forever.

Hate to be the one to break it to you, but Covid might be a big thing for the rest of your time here on planet Earth. Just being frustrated with it isn't going to make it go away. We don't have some collective "right" to "live normally". It's unfortunate, but that's the way it is.
One thing the Covid pandemic has done is clarify how incapable the human race is of working towards a common goal. It's fascinating, in a depressing way. Imagine if we found out that a giant asteroid was forecast with 99.999% certainty to hit Earth 6 months from now, and the only way to save humanity was for all the nations' top scientists and engineers to work together on a solution, and for the public of each nation to back them. It would turn into a total farce! You'd have so many competing factions, most of them trying to avoid doing anything whatsoever. Reactions will range from "It's God's/Allah's/Shinto's Will", to "how can scientists really know that this probably-flat asteroid is going to collide with out flat disc planet in the future?", to "it's just a ploy for Big Tech to take our money", to "I'm going to do some research on the internet", to "the only thing to stop a bad asteroid is a good guy with a gun", etc.
Depends on the size of the good guy's gun.
Endgame is that it becomes a slightly more deadly endemic flu. It means that yes, people will choose to wear masks indoors during winter. It will probably permanently lower the American lifespan by a year or so. Vaccinations will likely be rolled into the yearly flu shot.
Whats the impact of all these deaths though? We are still experiencing a massive wealth shift between generations thats driving inflation. There are major political implications of this too. Killing off the older and poorer Republican base.
We also likely will put massive sanctions on China for this in the near future.
