She's not that great looking and her personality is subpar.

Totally agree with this. People who harp on about her ‘looks’, she was very cute when she was new but her face has taken a toll from all that outdoor running and she has quite an u fortunate smile/teeth situation.
She is actually very mediocre in many ways. She isn’t the best runner, she isn’t good looking enough to get big modeling jobs (not to mention she’s older now) and people who think she’s social media savvy, she really isn’t that big on Instagram in the scheme of it all.
I said it, mediocre. Imagine having to work that hard to be mediocre in all of your strengths. She would be better off coaching a women’s team at this point.
Anyone saying she is transitioning to modeling has no idea what they are talking about. Being a model isn't just "some people think your hot so you get 250K." It is an incredibly young industry, 19 being the median age. Getting random commercial shoots once a year does not pay very much at all.

You do know she has been a professional model since high school and is represented by a top NY modeling agency?
She's done nothing modeling-wise besides her sponsors.
The modeling game has changed a lot since she modeled in high school. Instagram models, models or all shapes and sizes accepted, etc. She can still book some sports and senior citizen gigs but am not sure she can make a full living off it now. Of course she has a boyfriend and the Lululemon sponsorship to keep her going.
The steeplechase has also gotten so competitive.
Nike picked the right horse, so to speak...

And there’s the proof of gayness.
Get woke, go broke.
Thank you
Quigley's value at this point is not from winning or making the podium in races, but in maintaining the day to day interest of her many social media followers and leveraging that to help brands sponsoring her market and sell their products.
Honestly, the only reason I can see a move to LA being a mistake is because it's rather expensive and she may not necessarily have the connections to build branding relationships with any companies based there. I admittedly could be wrong about her connections, though. Perhaps she has an in that could make her some serious money if she's based in LA.
But at this point the outcomes in her running career are tangential to her success. People will root for her success, sure, but it almost doesn't matter right now if and when she races, let alone where she finishes in those races.

Wow. Err, thanks for that.
If thats what you think about an elite level runner with model good looks, imagine how bitingly bitchy your analysis of yourself would be!
You really hate women, don't you? (other than those you can presumably dominate).
The bit about her being "old" (at 28) is beyond creepy.

Wth is this take? It’s like when incels find out their favorite model has a boyfriend or when they get rejected on the street, now the girl is trash lmao. How bad is your life and how much do you hate yourself to talk like this towards someone you don’t know and has never done anything to you? This is insane

First of all I am a woman and secondly everything I said is accurate. You don’t have to like it but it’s based in fact and reality.
To the person who said that all she needs to do is focus on her social media, I would agree. Her engagement is actually very LOW
I can’t believe no one has jumped in this! Hilarious

Does any running career have any future? The answer is no. Very very few running careers have ever had a future. Salazar, Tinman, Rojo, and Wejo are some of the rare examples. I guess that there are some career coaches that can make a living coaching, but it's not a very common career for making a living.

Being a woman doesn't stop you from hating women...
Colleen Quigley has probably made enough money to buy a home outright by the age of 28 and has multiple income streams for the next few years. I'm guessing if that dries up eventually, she can always train for another career, just like most people do.
At no way is she "mediocre" in either athletic performance or looks. Very, very few people in this world reach the Olympics, never mind win a medal and very few people earn money from modelling.
As for being past it at 28, just look at what Meghan Markle achieved when a decade older. Not saying thats a good example, but it shows anythings possible.

Some random person on internet says person has bad teeth and face = facts and reality. Bwhahaha.

Um thanks for making my point. She didn’t make it to the Olympics, nor did she win a medal.
She doesn’t make money from modeling, she has a few product sponsorships which she promotes to her bot followers and some actual followers. Side note I find it curious that she is always injured but is paid to promote Hyper Ice and collagen proteins. Proof that neither product works?
28 is pretty old in both modeling and in track, it’s not personal it’s just a fact. Both careers have diminishing returns over time.
It will be interesting to see where she goes from here with the move and the new coach.

Um she did in fact make an Olympics. And the final. So I’d say it’s more “fact and reality” that being able to make an Olympics does not = being mediocre.
