Fermin is remembered. Ask about him to any Spanish runner, including Katir.
You are proving my point. Remembered only domestically, and a bit sad that it's the best the country can look to. That's Centro in 2030.

...and that "slow" 2016 Rio race has been watched over a million times. Future champions will study and use that race as motivation and reference.
Hahaha YOU ARE TOTALLY PLAYING YOURSELF. Do you realize that??
The Rio 100 has been watched 15 MILLION TIMES.
The Rio 400 has been watched 10 MILLION TIMES.
The London 800 has been watched 10 MILLION TIMES.
Those are the view counts for REAL PERFORMANCES.
Centro's 1500 win has been watched far less than half as much as the women's 1500 in Rio (2.8 MILLION VIEWS).
Centro's Rio 1500 has BARELY BEEN WATCHED relative to these events.
Centro's weak win actually has the worst viewing stats of any comparable event! Thanks for bringing that up. (Hopefully the low interest continues so that "future champions" don't "study" and produce embarrassing booed races.)
