A slow tactical race.

3:32.5, a hot pace fails to develop
Your conservative bet served you well in the brazier thread last week, but even if your guess is true this time we will know that it isn’t due to incredible foresight, but to an unwillingness to put yourself out there with a bold prediction
3:29:67
3:32:05
Either 3:30.00 or 3:30.01
Remember there will be the wavelight pacing technology. Rumours are Team Ingebrigtsen asked for it being set at the ER pace...
3:29:4
1) Someone in 3:27:5
2) Filip in 3:29:3
3) Jakob in 3:29:3
Karsten Warholm barely missing the 400h world record.
Is there *anyone* who has credible info on the state of the 'brigtsen's training? Or what their target time is, or what their opening 400 will be? Or press conference comments? Or are they just racers, and don't give a piss about times?
Normally everyone has a number of decent races under their belts before running Monaco, not so much this year, so will be pleasantly surprised with fast times.
3:32.34
Engels 3:25.99
Hardloper has it right, a bit over 3:30.
Likely 3:30.6, for 2nd place.

Surely WA cannot allow wave light pacing technology for record purposes? Ridiculous if they do.
Think of all the former greats who had to rely on a pacer or themselves to set the pace they wanted! Sad indeed if this takes place.

3:31.26 isn't slow.

Lol, I think something like 1/4 of the names above him have now been suspended or banned. I don't know if he is the clean WR holder, but he is the first person on the list it's reasonable to assume was clean. And 2 or 3 of the names above him are EPO era Spanish, so shut up with the constant playing of the race card. There was a point in history when 25 of the top women's 400m times were probably from the Soviet Bloc, and it wasn't racist to suggest the 26th (Western) 400m runner was the true WR holder.
I've said before, Venuste Niyongabo ran 3:29.18.
Why is he a doper and Nick Willis is not?
He gave his place in the 1500 at the Olympics to an aging teammate despite being one of the favourites in the event.
Venuste is today a member of the ‘Champions for Peace’ club, a group of 54 famous elite athletes committed to serving peace in the world through sport, created by Peace and Sport, a Monaco-based international organization
He has 1000x more credibility than you.
He might be, but then again, it's unlikely given his brief success occurred at the very height of the EPO era, and from what we know now about the extent of doping in Third World countries.
According to you 'everybody cheats if they have the opportunity'. Well he had plenty of opportunity.
That's why he is more likely to have doped than Nick Willis.
I would like to see a sub 3:30
He is a great young runner. Looking forward to seeing what he can do tomorrow.
3. 29.42 and do not forget his brother. The new member of Team Ingebrigtsen , Narve Gilje Nordås, ran a 3.56.62 mile yesterday. Soon 22 yrs. He ran 5000 13.33 earlier this year. He might be a very good 10000-runner.

He is making stuff up - just trying to deflect from the fact that Kenyans rely on EPO to compete at world level.
