Breaking news!!!! Drew Hunter responds again
Drew—-“Robert Brandt do we have a rivalry with you? I’m so confused haha. Tinman elite has never spoken out against Robert Brandt. In fact we have spoken highly about your gutsy racing. Sucks that you put people down. All the best, because I always give people the benefit of the doubt. “
Robs response “ I guess now we do! Just stirring the pot man. If anything this has brought some unexpected publicity to a very boring time in track and field. Can’t wait to hash it out on the track. Best of luck ?”
honestly kinda respected the beef when it was just Rob calling out tinman for being slow. Now it looks like he was trying to get attention or something. shoulda held his ground, Drew made it personal. Tinman has their head in the clouds.
Indeed it is. That’s why I said university.
Can't believe Drew backed down here. Should have ended Brandt not backed down
I appreciate Brandt's sentiment, BUT he should have been a little bit faster before he started this stuff. There's few too many TME guys with faster PRs.
Why do people think Tinman is a bad coach? He has coached a lot of runners to PRs. From what I have seen about his philosophy and training it all seems pretty similar to what other top coaches do.

I've coached myself to PRs! But I don't brag about the superiority of my training philosophy or put others' training styles down. I also don't charge 2 hundo a month for coaching. And I do not have a group of fanboys referring to me in godlike terms.
If you're loud, people are gonna ask what all the fuss is about. If there's nothing to fuss over, people are gonna be like "wtf you're a salesman"

Doing good, anything else you'd like to know?

Is he wrong?
I would like to know your PRs and your coaching Philosophy
You are comparing a college runner to post collegiate athletes. In the long run, my money is on Brandt.

When I tell someone that sort of stuff, there will be a price tag attached.
Someone is salty they never broke 6 in the mile then
I’ll pay top dollar for that info. Pm me
lmao are you roasting the site's tech? nice
I don't have an opinion on Tinman but I do enjoy a bit of trash talk/banter.
Hunter had the opportunity to get some sort of rivalry going and chose to sulk instead...so much for doing good for the sport.

That's a weak argument. Regardless of his long term potential, he's punching up. A 22 year old going after 23-26 year olds with faster PRs. He's got one year left to not look really stupid.
Brandt's 4 All-American spots were 7th, 8th, 8th, and 8th. His path to professional running, if he gets to do it, is going to look a lot like the Tinman Elite guys he's currently gunning on Strava.
I think that’s his point. He is at a similar level to the Tinman guys but people seem to revere them like they are gods.
Lol at “crush them like tinman foil”
imo this is all just fvcking stupid. Mr.Andy is going to break an arm if he keeps jerking off Brandt this hard and Brandt is just "stirring the pot" and being a d!ckhead for strava clout. The worst part of this is that Brandt may be right, but the fact that he's trying to earn clout by being petty on strava makes it meaningless, at least to me. Credit to Drew though, if he just keeps being kind like he is then everyone is just going to see Brandt as the d!ickhead in this situation. Classy boys.
