Wrong, professor. The question is why you’d blame the victim & lie about having a Psych degree before I was born.

No it doesn’t.
Getting a B.A. is nothing, Jesse. Everybody I interact with has one or more degrees. If several women come forward I don't blame the victim. Do you even live in Canada? What are the Canadian laws covering whatever happened?
You need to re-read your own posts. You’ve disgraced your school & teachers by both ignorance & being a pathological liar. I’m not insulted, you weren’t my student.

Actually, you have no idea why he was fired. You are only guessing.
I didn't state the exact reason why he was fired.
The University of Guelph said they fired Dave Scott-Thomas after learning of past unprofessional conduct
"The University of Guelph has terminated its relationship with Dave Scott-Thomas, the head coach of its track and field program. Recently, the University received information from former and current track and field athletes regarding their experiences on the team. During the course of reviewing this information and in the last 24 hours, the University became privy to new information regarding past unprofessional conduct. The well-being of our student-athletes is a priority; the University does not tolerate conduct from its coaches that is inconsistent with the core values and beliefs of the University of Guelph and our University’s Coaches Code of Conduct.”
Getting back on track, info like this is what we should be focusing on, such as the facts provided to the public by the University of Guelph. Their statements indicate one or more current team members came forth with info, one or more past athletes came forth with info, the info warranted a review during which time Dave Scott-Thomas went on leave, and then new information came forward and very soon after that he was fired.
The manager of Speed River statement indicates the U of Guelph did not share info. That makes sense, but raises the question of why Athletics Canada killed off the HP centre. What info would Athletics Canada have to warrant this action if they haven't received complaints and the University didn't share info with them? Based on public info, it would appear that Dave Scott-Thomas being fired by the U of Guelph for unprofessional conduct was sufficient for AC to cut ties.
And don't forget Athletics Canada is now conducting their own review, done independently, just as with the Ottawa Lions coaches.
Hold on, Harris likes girls?
damn.....................didn't see that comin
AC likely cut ties because they received enough info on the mid 2000s review, + are starting to realize the money was going almost entirely to DST, and not athletes/U of G. No accountability whatsoever.

So is plausible that a victim would have some attachment to her victimizer?
Yeah, if she was locked in a room with him. The question is how old was she if and when she fell in love with him, and did that lead to other things?
Doesn't concern you Fred , DST was fired ..
Ha! Post of the week.

Do you have any evidence of that?
In my very limited experience, the club money, the training centre money and the university money were always kept very separate.

If this is true , AC is obligated to recover this money . Maybe this is why police are asking some former athletes if
" $ " was paid out to them . No Statute of limitations in Canada . Police can trace DST's accounting , going back as far as they want .
Globe and Mail :
" Mike Tate, who won the 2019 Canadian cross-country championships last month, is among the athletes now in limbo.
“I moved to Guelph essentially to train under Dave Scott-Thomas,” Mr. Tate said.
Originally from Antigonish, N.S., Mr. Tate came to Guelph from Southern Utah University, where he was a top collegiate distance runner. Mr. Tate said he will train under the Guelph team’s assistant coach, Kyle Boorsma.
Kate Ayers, a postcollegiate athlete who had remained at Speed River to pursue her goal of running at the Olympics, said she had a positive rapport with Mr. Scott-Thomas, but was aware of complaints.
“You think you know someone and they mean well, but when you hear that they may have hurt people, it’s upsetting,” she told The Globe.
Ms. Ayers, who has moved to Victoria to train, says the sport is in the midst of a reckoning. “People are creating a larger voice. Standing against inappropriate conduct,” she said. “We have to bring about change.”
Medical advice? You must have been an M.D. before I was born. Quite the Renaissance man.

AC has publicly said they have received no complaints against DST. So do you think, despite going out of their way to say this, they called the police to say he is stealing their money? And the police are investigating?
If anything, this would be a civil claim, and if it is AC money, they would have to sue him to recover.
Do you think it’s possible he murdered the money and buried it under the new track?
Where did they get all that money for the new track?
Are all those sponsors even real businesses?
How are they still in business when they knew DST was murdering cash money’s?
How did the alumni afford to donate money when they are all evil crooked monsters who knew what was going on (you know, the thing 5 people know about and are sworn to confidentiality, that thing we all get to speculate on) and likely are unemployable bastards?
How’s about you and me dig up all that “space cash” under the UoG track...build some water parks in Mexico!
I think Randy Marsh should coach the UoG...or how awesome would a SouthPark episode of all these turd runners posting online and it turns out at the end of the episode DST doesn’t even exist?
Crazy...not as crazy as you fuckers...but crazy eh?

early in this thread people were saying AC wasn't investigating DST , now they ( AC ) pull the plug on U of G as a funded training centre based on their investigation of DST and his program ? I don't believe AC had no complaints against DST and his shady operation.
Name 1 CIS coach who gives a crud about his/her athletes as PEOPLE and if you name 1 it will be 1 who finessed you into believing they care LOL you got duped lol you played yourself didn't you?
Oh, I think that Dennis F did.
