Civilians were killed, so we can justify or turn a blind eye to execution and torture?
All these things are wrong. One does not excuse the other.
It's a goddamn tragedy what's happening in the Ukraine. But it's far from unique.
Atrocity stops is when we stop finding reasons for it.
I'm not apologizing of any of it.
I'm pointing out sickening hypocrisy.
We are literally up in arms over civilian deaths in Mariupol, but were not for Snizhne in 2014 (etc.). If you care about one and not others, it shows it's not killing you're concerned about... just some killings. That speaks to agenda not morality.
