gaetz is the kind of dumbsh/t they'll put in the cabinet if trump wins next year.
ignorance and stupidity are highly valued on planet m'aga.
Trump ain't winning. No way. No how. It's over.
I think Trump has around a 40% chance of being the next prez.
and around an 80% chance of being the gop nominee.
today:
Former President Donald Trumpholds gargantuan leads over his Republican rivals in a new poll, beating Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) by 30 points in a full field, and crushing former South Carolina Governor and Trump UN Ambassador Nikki Haleyby 61 points in another matchup. It was not long ago that many analysts were writing political obituaries for Trump in the wake of a chaotic Speaker of the House election and post-midterm soul-searching. Since then, DeSantis has soft-launched his presidential campaign and Haley officially launched hers.

Mayor of Chicago didn't make it through the primary...it's crime. Dems have got to get tougher on crime. NYC suburbs have gone red because they are worried about crime. Now Chicago will hire a much more conservative mayor, I'm guessing mostly because of crime.
Dems have to change here and stop pandering the racially divisive left.
How could one ever believe it would be rational or productive policy? Seems awfully weird to me.
Hey Igy hope you are well.
My sense is that urban dems were shocked by the BLM movement, by black people being shot too often by cops, by stop and frisk. So they reacted too far in the other direction, out of fear of being called 'conservative' or 'anti-black.' The vocal lefties in the cities really don't want much policing.
But the vocal lefties are only a small part of the electorate. Most people - incl. black and brown people - want the police to stop crime. So I'm hoping politicians will find the backbone to push back against the 'defund the cops' people. Not sure they can though.

Doing well, and thanks for the kind comments on the other thread. LRC will handle problem as needed. I plan to post less.
It seems to me some of these policies were driven by whites. Unfortunately Blacks are hurt the most by inner city crime. Focus needs to be on community driven reforms, not by outside entities. That requires real leadership from the Black community, not self interest business of race baiting and hatred. IMHO.

Meanwhile, the GOP is giving the security footage to insurrectionist. They don't care about "crimes" as long as the criminals are from their team.
The Republican plan follows Speaker Kevin McCarthy's decision to grant Fox News' Tucker Carlson exclusive access to internal film from the day of the attack.
Let’s not forget he can’t even walk up a flight of steps anymore
dude literally flies into Kiev in wartime and you keep up with this nonsense.
Yep...it's nonsense. Biden is just an old man. He does not have dementia. You morons who think so have no idea what dementia looks like. He couldn't have given the state of the union speech if he had dementia.

Doesn't matter what some nutso GOPers do with regard to picking a nominee. Trump will NEVER be President again.
I won't predict what Republicans will do with regard to their nominee (because too many of them...as in the VAST MAJORITY...are batsh!t crazy), but it is WAAAAAAAY too early to be looking at polls to see who might win it. Jeb Bush was the leader of the pack in 2016 for the GOP.

Agree. The people who run America will not allow another Trump presidency.
