How can we blame the Republicans for destroying our freedoms when it’s the Libs who want to ban gas stoves?
(1) You're wrong (not your fault - you fell for a Republican lie to keep you scared and angry. The truth: "A White House spokesman, Michael Kikukawa, said President Biden does not want to prohibit gas stoves. “The President does not support banning gas stoves,” he said. “And the Consumer Product Safety Commission, which is independent, is not banning gas stoves.”
(2) Even if you were right, what is a greater threat to your freedom? Doing everything you can (including attacking our capital) to overthrow a fair presidential election or putting some limits on gas stoves?

He was kidding.
Oh, and let’s also stop telling the Trumpers that it’s “not their fault” that they can’t see the huge steaming piles of lies and BS from a mile away. Absent proof of an extremely low IQ, it absolutely IS their fault.
Saudi Arabia basically bought the trump--kushner family for $2 bn cash and a golf league
and
the trump administration begged Twitter over and over to delete anti-trump posts. In other words, the US government pressured a private company to take things down.
and
some Trump WH laptops had classified documents on them, which is probably illegal.
Oh yeah, and the Kansas GOP passed a motion to impeach Biden for 'tyranny.'
Welcome to 'conservative' politics in the USA.
Trump left office 2 years ago and Agip still obsessing over him? Classic Trump derangement syndrome. Meanwhile the party that has whined about a few protesters carrying flags on Jan. 6 continues to do what they do best - riot. Republicans protest peacefully carrying American flags while Democrats burn down buildings and kill people. Democrats - the party of rioting.

So, I guess that Sally gets the "low IQ" pass card? Not that we really needed another reminder.
It's interesting, because on the one hand, one can say, "OF COURSE, no honest, rationale, American would describe Trump's election steal that way."
On the other hand, regardless, one has no doubt that a person who posts something like above DOES, in fact, think that (NOT NEW) poor urban behavior (and any number of other long-standing American shortcomings) necessitates electing a f***** autocrat.
Geez, how DO you explain that kind of thinking from 30-40% of America? It ain't low IQ.

Seriously, Sally, just explain this on behalf of ALL of those Americans who currently side with the R party:
- Why can't the R party repudiate Trump? And why didn't they LONG ago?
- And EASILY find someone better than him? And why didn't they LONG ago?
Looks like one of the most corrupt people in America will skate by charges again.
Trump's first genius is sales. He closed an amazing sale on a third of the nation.
His second genius is being a mob boss who gets his lieutenants jailed but he never is prosecuted. Just amazingly talented at it.
even here - we can see that people who tried to defend trump perjured themselves, presumably to defend Trump. They may go to jail, Trump won't. Just a genius.
ATLANTA (AP) — A judge has ordered the release of parts of a report produced by a special grand jury that investigated efforts by former President Donald Trump and his allies to overturn his narrow 2020 election loss in Georgia. Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney announced the decision on Monday, three weeks after hearing arguments from prosecutors, who urged the report be kept secret until they decide on charges, and a coalition of media organizations, which pressed for its release. McBurney said the introduction and conclusion of the report, as well as a section in which the grand jurors expressed concerns that some witnesses may have lied under oath, will be released Thursday.

I think the Republicans would love to get rid of Trump and pretend he never existed. I think I’m slowly becoming a bit of a Trump fan as a result. He’s hilarious. He makes fun of Mitch McConnell. He told Jeb Bush to his face that his brother let the country down as acting president on 9/11. He might call Ron a pedo on the debate stage. I’ve never seen a guy talk so much sh!t and get away with it. I can see why he’s so appealing to working class voters and I can’t wait to see what he does in the 2024. Of course I’ll still vote for Joey B but it’s just more fun when Trump is there

I think the guy is a buffoon and an idiot but what many conservatives liked about him is exactly what you say appeals to you ... that being how he makes fun of Mitch, how he was so honest telling Jeb that, calling Ron a pedo. A few years ago he was doing the same thing BUT he was doing them against Hillary, against Democratic congresspeople, against anyone on the opposite side - but back then you were non-stop whining about he was so mean. Now he is doing it against Repubs and you find it hilarious (your own words!). Mitt Romney used to be a decent guy and you Libs savaged him. Romney was unwilling to fight back. You Dems play dirty politics so Romney was defeated. He refused to get in the gutter with you Libs. Trump DID get in the gutter and that is why we rejoiced when he DID get in the gutter. No top Repub before him ever did that. He chose to fight back.
Listen guys; I’m sure Joe Biden will do whatever Wall Street, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, google, Twitter and Disney want. Which is fine for us neoliberals. Conservatives should be jumping up and down right now. This country was bought and sold thirty fvcking years ago.
they have you fighting a culture war so we won’t fight a class war

Yes, as of March last year, the date of that article, apparently those stats were true. We really *do* need the funding to hire people who can audit the much more complex tax returns that wealthy people typically submit.
Fortunately, a bill to provide that funding was passed in August.

I’ve gone back and forth on hating Trump. I do hate some of the things he does and some of what he represents. Back in 2016, I watched one of his rallies and found it to be pretty captivating. I thought it was really funny that the crowd would just periodically break out into either a “lock her up” or “build the wall” chant. But at that point I also considered him “dangerous” and probably commented accordingly. I don’t think he’s dangerous anymore. I think he’s like the perfect Hegelian foil to the progress the left thought they made under Obama.

Yes, god forbid that states take steps to try to reduce childhood illness.
The justification for *states* phasing out gas infrastructure was always been about climate change, not childhood asthma. I don't like it, but it had a more evidence than the dubious childhood asthma "study" that popped up out of nowhere in late 2022 and was almost certainly just rationalization for what the greens wanted to push anyways.
Liberals don't worship the earth, moon or stars. They worship controlling others. Bill Gates has 4 jets. Climate Czar Kerry zooms over to collect his Climate Award. Liberals want to dictate what others do even though most of them are the most egregious hypocrites. Just shameful human beings.
You are also a moron. I realize that everyone on here knows this already - this is just a reminder for you.
Maybe. My gut reaction is that this would be a good idea.
On the other hand, non-compete clauses may be somewhat analogous to various intellectual property protections that, at times, may seem unfair and annoying as helI, but overall are critical to the development and deployment of intellectual property.
Take away non-compete clauses - do companies become far more limited in what information they share with employees? IDK. Does overall economic growth take a hit because of less sharing of information? IDK.
So, I kinda agree with you. But it may not be so simple or obvious.
Climate is a Religion with liberals they worship the earth, moon stars....very primitive...
You are a moron.
I'm an agnostic who doesn't usually love "anti-religion humor," but I'm reminded that the reply to the above quote pointing out that at least those things are KNOWN to be real was quite clever and amusing.
