Scott Hall got in early. If more of the lower-level perps also make deals to tell the truth, the court cases could go faster. First to flip get the best deals, so move fast you chumps!
Trump's attendance at two days of the New York fraud trial is interesting. He's feeling the heat.
Strange complaint by him about not getting a jury trial. In other cases, he was complaining (in advance) that a jury trial would be unfair to him. It's unclear why he is not having a jury trial in New York fraud case, but it sure seems like it's because he and his lawyers decided early in the case that they wanted a bench trial. I don't know of any proceedings in the US, other than small claims court and family court, where a party doesn't have a Constitutional right to a jury trial if the parties wants one. "Jury Trial Demanded" is the common bolded phrase on initial pleadings like Answers to Complaints.
Trump sure gets away with a lot. Privileges of being a rich celebrity. I challenge anyone to think of a case where a party to a case calls a press conference outside the courtroom and defames and slanders the judge at will. I think it's unheard of.

Trump and his surrogates are quickly seeing the difference between a court of law and the right wing spin ecosystem they live in.
Trump was lying trying to say the judge ruled statute of limitations would negate 80% of his fraudulent actions. The judge quickly shot down that spin as a lie.
Right wing BS and spin does not work in court. And that is all Trump has.

Trump is the worst kind of liar: One that is easily proven to be lying.
Trump’s attorneys, acting on his behalf, waived his right to a jury trial earlier this year, according to online court records.
Trump also falsely said on Monday “we’re not entitled to a jury, which is pretty unusual in the United States of America.”
Trump was entitled to a jury, but his lawyers chose to have a bench trial, meaning the judge will make the final determination.

Just one of many reasons Trump could never ever take the witness stand to testify. He would irreparably incriminate himself in record time.
We live in a strange time when this guy is such a pathological liar that he could never be on a witness stand, yet 25% of the country thinks he should be our leader.

It's always about the PR for Trump and not the legal issue. He's never really lost a legal contest which has significantly cost him. Even in this case, the judge may rule that his corporation is out of business in NY but it will be tied up in appeals until after Trump is dead. So he doesn't care about that. He cares about the PR from the case.
With a judge being the sole determiner, he can claim that the judge is corrupt (he already has). With a jury trial he can't complain that the entire jury was corrupt....although he'd probably try that...as it is less believable.
You guys are pathetic, from the 10-cent masks you try to scream about being about science and medicine (has no relation) to the outpouring of fake hate over Trump to control an election.
It is established that Giuliani was drunk when providing all his election rigging advice to Trump, and Trump knew Giuliani was inebriated. Trump even threw a plate of spaghetti at the sodden lawyer, and witnesses have testified there were streaks of tomato sauce dripping down the White House walls like it was some guinea flop slopper.
While there is no longer a Constitutional prohibition against drunken behavior (Amendment XVIII), booze does destroy the advice counsel defense. Basically, you can't raise that defense when your lawyer is half in the bag.
^^ Interesting article about (as M Cohen would call him) Rudy Colludy Drunken Giuliani. If Donald cannot blame Rudy for bad advice re the Jan 6 criminal charges, can he blame Eric? That seems to be his strategy in the NY State fraud trial this week.

Aren't many of the charges beyond the statute of limitations?
The first big witness is likely to be Allan Weisselberg, former chief financial officer at the Trump Organization. He is a defendant in the case and fairly high up on the list to testify. e Earlier this year Weisselberg was sentenced to five months in prison for financial crimes he committed while working there. Last year he pleaded guilty to 15 counts including grand larceny tax fraud and falsifying business records.

Like what does any of this even mean? Not one thing you mention matters. Even if you get your way, what’s your victory? That Trump is incarcerated, in chains? That’s what you are hanging your hat on?
We care about the election, that’s it…and, case you forgot, SCOTUS just confirmed that Trump cannot be taken off the ballot. So we vote, in prison or not. And Kennedy is helping to end your dream. Trumps power just overturned the SOH for first time in History. The light is very bright. The War will be over soon enough. #mag^
You are flailing now and it shows. You just labeled yourself as a true M@ga Republican. Just like we knew you to be.
This is why you animals sat idly by while your leftist governments killed over 100,000,000 people in the 20th century.
Doesn't matter. It's way too late to demand a jury trial. That demand should have been made by Trump's lawyers during the initial phases of the case - Answering the Complaint is the typical place to demand a jury trial. Otherwise, it is waived. You can't ask for jury trial during the middle of a bench trial. That's just basic stuff.
If Trump truly feels aggrieved here, the proper place is to sue his lawyers for malpractice and/or file a disciplinary complaint against them with the New York bar. He may have a decent case, because Alina Said Mohammed Habba and that Florida guy Kise seem really incompetent here (as evidenced in part by the sanctions order). They suck bad.
