Great post. Rupp has been on a very intelligently laid out progression and continues to get results, and his detractors look more and more like the imbeciles they are. Balls indeed.
This is most definitely NOT a fast course, and that is a hell of a good time especially given how this race played out. He is getting closer to being able to compete with nearly anyone in the world and will prove it before he retires. I predict he ends up with a PR in the low 2:04ish range, definitely an American record, and maybe high 2:03s if he gets in the right race.
