I don't think Kipchoge will drop, he's never dropped even when destroyed
Mantz, such an unorthodox foot plant but so effective. Looking good pulling back the two leaders.
Good to see US and GB runners in the mix
Go on Cairess
Bekele 40secs behind. He can cover that much if leaders blow up
God I love Mantz so much he's really racing to win. I'd be shocked if he medaled with how hard they're hitting these hills, but I will wake up this whole house if he does
The theme of running US men’s distance running seems to be WHY NOT US???
GO MANTZ! GO YOUNG!!
1:04:51 at half for Tola, Faniel, Mantz. Bekele 40 secs back
Bekele in 37th at halfway, about 40 seconds from the lead. A lot can happen in the second half, hope he's still got some in him
Cairess playing this well
Did Mantz get a pep talk from Rooks before the ‘Thon?

I predict first time for everything
Kipchoge and Levins 1:10 back at half
Go USA, why not? we aussies need USA support against the hordes from the north
Tadesse Abraham glances over then does a double take when he sees Kipchoge is by him. Might have exchanged words, we don't really see it.
Mantz is going to implode
But so might the rest
Kipchoge is 1:16 back at halfway. 58th place
Similar to the trials, I think Young looks better than Mantz right now and is being very patient. I wouldn’t be surprised if Young hangs around for a while.

Sad day for Kipchoge.
Kara’s commentary is painful.
Can't be worse than Tim Hutchins. He's already referred to Crippa as the best European (he's maybe 15th best), and said Manta only has a beat of 2:09.
I think we're going to see some carnage at the end of this. Tola should be fine, I've little faith in anyone else
Ok Faniel isn't gonna win but Mantz will win.
Mantz is an extreme forefoot striker, big advantage going uphill.
