The more I think about Danny being in jail until he’s 76, the more upset I get by it. It’s actually starting to give me anxiety every time I think about it
It’s unlikely. Just like metoo overzealousness, there’s a good chance the tide will turn sooner than that and courts will go back to imposing stricter evidentiary standards and revisit old cases where gross injustice was deemed to have been done.
For those saying he’s guilty no matter what. You do know a past friend of yours you pissed off, a co worker that hates you, etc etc., could do this to you…. Right?
the entire point of this is that there is no documentable evidence besides someone saying words. Those same exact words can be used against you and therefore you could be in prison for 30 years. That’s a reality now.

It appears that this is now a political issue. Conservatives defend the man who has been accused of a sexual crime. Liberals seem to believe the women who make the allegations. Is being pro sexual violence possibly going to be on the Republican platform? Fascinating that Republicans are now BOTH pro sexual violence and pro life. One gets the impression that many Republican men would like to be able to rape women and then force them to have the baby if pregnancy results.
What ever happened with this? Is he actually in prison now? Or maybe out on appeal? It’s just such a shame.

We do live in a country that the leading presidential candidate for the republican party makes lies about pretty much everything, but his followers drool over his every word and believe he speaks the truth, even with evidence to the contrary presented to them.
