Of course he does not understand it because it was not reported on Morning Joe, CNN, MSNBC, the Daily Kos, Huffington Post, Rachel Maddow, Joy Reid et al.
Dems wait for the facts to come out and then decide.
Repubs depend on Fox News, Russia Today, Donald Trump and zero hedge.
You mean like the Russian collusion story? That the Hunter laptop story is a lie from the Russians? That the jab stops the Covid dead in its tracks?
You do understand Biden's son was selling access to The Big Guy (VP Joe Biden) to foreign nations?
And that the Big Guy was getting cut in on the $?
Is there a link for this? I'm know its true, but need to verify. Some media-brainwashed jackal at my job is challenging my assertions in this regard, and I want to rap him right in the goddam snout with cold, hard, dispositive facts. I'm going to humiliate him in front of our co-workers.
JOE Biden is “the big guy” in for a 10 percent cut in a business deal with a Chinese energy firm discussed in his son Hunter’s leaked emails, according to a person involved in the…
I would think its common sense that H Biden was being paid huge $$ from Ukraine and Chinese companies (not in dispute) for his non-expertise while his Dad was VP for one reason only

You mean "Democrats work overtime to suppress the facts and call them Russian disinformation until it got proven otherwise."
The bill is only necessary because you idiots will shut down the government if it doesn’t passes. Republicans need to negotiate in good faith so the congress can actually do good work. Until republicans decide they’d rather not burn it all down this is necessary. This is on you morans.
It's Republicans' fault Democrats couldn't do their jobs all year and now can't help themselves but pass all this crap? What a sad excuse for a party the Dems have become.
I'd rather do another "government shutdown" then pass this crap

This is a goddam slam dunk. All I need. I am going to pillory this guy at work with this. Hector him in front of subordinates. He will rue the day he challenged me on this stuff.

We're not talking just about a gov shutdown here, though. We're looking at a default if some GOPers get their way.
O' course, that would plunge the US (and the rest of the world) into deep fat. But it might help Republicans' election chances in 2024, so fvck the American families that might get hurt amirite?

The world is going to plunge into default if we spend billions on salmon or gender "Expansion" in Pakistan?
And I see that gas prices are "down" to ~$3.10 a gallon (not that Biden, or any president, has much control over that). Still sucky but better than a year ago.

How much does the US spend on subsidizing other food? Why would fishing be any different?

"When the U.S. came close to not raising the debt ceiling in 2011, stock markets fell over 10%"--that should be our concern, not culture-war stuff.
Last time the U.S. came close to not raising the debt ceiling in 2011, markets fell over 10% and the debt of the U.S. government was downgraded. There's some risk that history repeats in 2023.
Clickbait. No one actually fears a US government default anymore. 2011 taught them that the US government will always print more money anyway. So I don't give a crap. I AM concerned about the amount we waste on things the federal government has NO BUSINESS doing. That should concern any honest person here.

It is not necessary for the outgoing congress to pass a spending bill for next year. The newly elected congress can do that. Hopefully, it will be much lower. Perhaps an actual balanced budget. I don't think tasking the current congress (that has overseen inflation levels not seen in forty years) with coming up with a spending bill for next year is the best idea. In fact, that should be a disqualifier for any job in any profession going forward.
You must have hated Donald Trump then because they skyrocketed during his presidency.
I did. He's not been President for 2 years. Someday you fools will have to get over it, stop embarrassing yourselves, and govern. But today is not that day.
