Whatever happened to those news stories from 3 months ago that screamed "99% OF COVID DEATHS ARE AMONG THE UNVACCINATED" ?
Asking for a friend.

The vast vast vast majority (99%+) of global pandemic deaths are still among the unvaccinated.
Ask better questions and you might learn some stuff bro :)

Get your damn vaccine people.

Well, since most of the pandemic deaths came before the vaccine was widespread, that made sense then. The recent data is much less assuring. In the tri-county health department in Colorado, 35% of the September cases and 36% of the October cases to date were among the vaccinated (overall vaccination rate is between 60-65%). What’s more noteworthy is the CFR among the vaccinated and unvaccinated since March is not noticeably different.

That, of course, includes all officially recognized covid deaths from 2020.
Try again.
Vermont is 71% "fully vaccinated" as of today, Oct. 26.

OK, I'll dumb it down for you.
Total number of Covid deaths to date = 720,000.
As of 12/31/20 (pre-vaccine), number of Covid deaths = 341,000.
Since 12/31/20 (post-vaccine), number of Covid deaths = 379,000
Total number of Covid deaths among those fully vaccinated = 7178
So, if 379,000 people have died of Covid since the vaccine became available, and if only 7178 of those deaths were of people who were fully vaccinated, that works out to less than 2%. Or, to put it another way, over 98% of deaths from Covid since the vaccine became available have been of people who were not fully vaccinated.
Yes, the article uses the total number of Covid deaths, which includes deaths from before the vaccine was available. But it's not hard to find the number of deaths since the vaccine became available (379K) and do the math yourself. Which is what your friend could have done.

Okay, let's try this: Nearly half of American Covid-19 deaths have come during the Biden administration, as multiple posters on this site have been careful to remind us. Vaccines were widely available after just a few weeks of Biden's inauguration, so it's safe to say that at least one-third of American deaths from the disease have come since then.
So if we discount the 99+% figure, because it includes deaths before vaccines were available--a discounting that I actually think is fair and reasonable--then by simple arithmetic we're still left with at least 97+% of the deaths among the unvaccinated.

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/one-4-u-s-adults-are-now-fully-vaccinated-n1263331While the unvaxed are at a greater risk of covid infection, a distinction needs to made between unvaxed covid recovered patients and unvaxed people who never got covid.
That this distinction is not made, proves the duplicity and heavy handednesd of politicians and public health tyrants. They preaxh follow the data, bit cherrypick which data to follow. The data clearly shows unvaxed recovered patients are at a lower risk of getting an infection compared to vaxed people who never had an infection. The data out of Israel clearly shows it.
And if we wish to be truthful about this pandemic in descriptive words, let's be really accurate. According to the CDC, 94% of Covid deaths were people who had at least two co-morbidities. I lost three friends over the past summer. They were all excessively overweight. For the entire pandemic, I have lost over eleven people I know well. They were all overweight. When are we going to recognize the real health crisis at hand? Over 40% of Americans are clinically obese. Two thirds of Americans are overweight. That is the real crisis. This is a pandemic of people with poor lifestyle choices.

Your point is that you have no point?
Anyway, if you want to haggle over whether the number is 99%, or 98%, or 97%, go right ahead. The inescapable truth is that the vaccines are highly effective against serious illness and death.
Meanwhile, Sweden, with a bit over half the death rate as the USA, is at less than 4-5 deaths/day, with no lockdowns forced masking or forced injections.
As always with covid, SWEDEN WINS.

Here are the numbers from 13 US jurisdictions, from April 4, 2021 - July 17, 2021:
During April 4–July 17, a total of 569,142 (92%) COVID-19 cases, 34,972 (92%) hospitalizations, and 6,132 (91%) COVID-19–associated deaths were reported among persons not fully vaccinated, and 46,312 (8%) cases, 2,976 (8%) hospitalizations, and 616 (9%) deaths were reported among fully vaccinated persons in the 13 jurisdictions.
https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/70/wr/mm7037e1.htm91% of Covid deaths were of those not fully vaccinated.
Peter Ghandhi, your arrogance is unwarranted. And you participate in the deception by posting that clearly deceptive article that would put that 7,000 plus vaccinated covid deaths as a percent of all the deaths over the entire pandemic. The vaccinations only really got done primarily in April and May of 2021 in highly vaccinated states and over the summer in the slighly lesser vaccinated states. That 7000 plus has to put as a percent of deaths from April to present. That would be a more truthful representation. We would also have to add in the accidentental deaths from the vaccine to that 7000 plus. VAERS is showing about 4,000 adverse deaths.
So let's do11,000 deaths into the 150,000 who died since we reallly started getting the bulk of people vaccinated. That would show only about 7.3% of the covid deaths being the vaccinated. That would prove vaccines work at preventing covid deaths. So why is there a need to exagerate things?
I look at this as a man lying in court. One little lie gets him convicted even though he may be innocent. The problem is that the vaccine is being sold as a magic bullet, in spite of its effectiveness dropping below 50% in less than five months, and that facade is being strigently perpetuated. They also don't want any scrutiny on accidental vaccine deaths. And they refuse to compare vaccines against natural immunity from having had the disease. I would love to see what percent of recovered patients got covid again and died. I would bet that percent trends very close to zero, given that less than 1% of recovered patients get covid again. Israel is keeping track of that percent, and it's virtually zero.
I personally hate deception and when it's coupled with arrogance, I definitely become very wary. And I am not the only one.

I stopped reading when you mentioned VAERS, because you are either ignorant about what VAERS is, or you intentionally misrepresented what it is.
From the VAERS website: VAERS is not designed to determine if a vaccine caused a health problem...
Otherwise, your numbers are likely made up and your assumptions are wrong.

This is a pandemic of people with poor lifestyle choices--including choosing not to be vaccinated--WHO WERE KILLED BY COVID-19.
But for the virus, statistically speaking it is most likely that ten or eleven of those eleven people you knew would not have died when they did. They didn't suddenly develop obesity (and diabetes, high blood presure, and heart disease), did they? Most or all of them would have been overweight for decades, and were it not for Covid-19 they likely would have lived with their overweight for years or decades longer. IT WAS COVID-19 THAT KILLED THEM AND IF THEY'D GOTTEN VACCINATED (I would bet most or all of them did not) THEY LIKELY WOULD HAVE LIVED.
Pandemic of the unvaccinated: CONFIRMED.

anyone that uses VAERS causatively or correlatively is stupid or intentionally deceptive. Read their FAQ. They are just measuring the background event rate in the vaxxed population.
