Doesn't sound right, that was the day of the TomTOm screenshots and I got 1448 miles out of them.

So you are saying that Robert ran only 1190 miles until 6/10/16?
It all looks pretty weird to me.
Oops, ignore the distance and pace stuff in that for a few minutes until I can correct it. I was experimenting with trends. If you're curious (before I have a chance to correct it), consider each point is based on a 5-point neighborhood, indexed from 1 through 5, with the center point (3) being the winner of the statistics. The distance and elapsed time are calculated from point 1 to 5. Then the pace is the 60-minute pace centered on that checkpoint.
Actually, ignore That^^. Remember this is tracker data, which was probably mostly in the RV. The backtracking supports the idea it was on the RV. Not sure where you get 1190... I've got 1739 miles when I do the column sum for distance_mi. I know that's an overestimate because of backtracking...
I'm glad this fake is being called out here on LR. I hate fakers and cheaters in sports but especially in my favorite sport -- competitive running.

Yup. These guys are professional fraudsters. But there's no evidence against them, just an incoherent paranoid babbling runswimdude who thinks everyone who asks for evidence and sources is one of the scammers.

I'll just stick with the Ultra List.
Thanks.

Do UListers even put their PR's on their resume? How would they even do that since they measure their PR's with calendars instead of stopwatches?

1448 makes more sense to me. The tracker would have more miles if it has to do extra miles compared to Rob. I hope to take a closer look at how many of the 1739 (which is the sum of the segment distances up to June 9 10am) are doubling back but that will have to wait. My intention was to classify each segment in terms of whether it was forward or backward and, if backward, then subtract those miles from the total. I don't see an easy way of doing that to this data in its current form.
you should probably adjust your meds.
60 miles today and pic of him in Las' shirt to keep cool.
also Laz casually smoking a fag in one of the pics.... is this for real?

Guys,
There is no chance in hell that RY and his crew will ever release their early stage GPS data. Just go ahead and build your case that RY and his crew of fraudulent grifters faked large parts of the pre-emporia running.
However, the real story is in the grifter - In the name of charity con artist - Epic Adventurist industrial complex being exposed here. If Rojo wants a story, he should focus on all the con artists using running to line their pockets.
I think that is a bigger story that needs it's own separate thread. There are too many roaches under that carpet. This thread is focusing on Rob's cheating. I agree they will never release the data, even if they get the record. They'll only release limited data to Guinness to log their world record, but all we're gonna get is a big F U. The focus of Rob's story should be:
1. Claims about having been a pro triathlete and his PBs
2. The huge holes in several of his running logs prior to Kansas, including the circumstances that would have made it impossible for him to have run that far that fast (climate, elevation, lack of consistency in the information we have, etc)
3. Inconsistencies between his claims and basic running logic, notably no sun tan, multiple marathons in 30 hours as a couch potato, the 5min miles when his 5k PB is shite, the sprint start to all runs, etc.
3. The significant drop in daily miles after this thread started
4. Their lack of response and cooperation when questions were raised
5. And just for good measure note that he's gone undetected until now because his life story plays to the non-running and hobby-jogger community who just don't understand basic running science. He also never attempted a "record" before so now he's come under much warranted scrutiny.
Looks that way and going by this Rob and Laz happy families photo (fourth down):
http://imgur.com/a/KFj0Ddon't think there's going to be any firm requests for pre-Emporia data there.

You know what stinks about this thread. You are trying to keep up and on page 128 you respond to a post making some great points and then by the time you have caught up 6 hours later you get to your own post but it was so long ago you don't remember making it. Your like hey this person makes good points and responds to them. It's like a snake eating its own tail.

you know what really stinks?
I work in a Dark Brother's reference, & that's the best you can come back with? Witty banter? Negative.
I rest my case.
Funny thing is, RY is probably learning a great deal (or should be) from the ultra guys that are monitoring him for the last third of his attempt. Staying (relatively) healthy and making the daily number mileage wise is the key in these type of endeavors.
Could actually turn out that this monitoring is instrumental in his getting the "record". I don't think some of those pre-monitoring sections were legit, but
he'll certainly contend that they are.
Until he duplicates those type of paces in a multi-day ultra the skeptics, myself included, will think he lied.
Laz has adopted Rob as his own. The Grifters strike again.

I have a ton of articles on the blog, and besides some Rossi commentary, I believe only Parvaneh/Larry article mentions any case that was posted here first.
You also did that really cool scatterplot of Boston to catch a bunch of cheaters, almost all of which did not actually cheat. But they have to contact you to get off the hook.
Focus, dude.
