Also, Carmine 9. There is a direct link between low IQ and prejudiced beliefs, so I wouldn’t go around bragging how smart you are because your prejudiced opinions are a badge for your low IQ.
And is it wrong for the US to have done this? If so, then it's wrong for Russia to invade Ukraine, correct?
Wow.
Where are the threads attacking the US for what it's doing in Somalia, Yemen, Syria?
Where are your cries about the US invading those sovereign nations?
Why do you ignore the fact that the US overthrew the elected govt of Urkaine in 2014 and installed a puppet. That Ukraine has been bombing Donetsk and Donbass for 8 years.
Or that the USA surrounds Russia with military bases?
"Surrounds"? Russia's eastern southeastern and southern borders consist of an ocean, North Korea, China, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, various former Soviet states, and Iran. How many of those locations even have a US base? And yes, Russia and the US are geographically close at the Bearing Sea, but Russia is just as threatening as the US at that location.
Your list of US invasions is infused with fantasy. When did the US invade Kenya post-2021? Kenya asked for our help with Islamic fanatics, gave us permission to build a base, and entered into an intelligence-sharing arrangement. If that is an invasion my property was invaded twice yesterday - once by UPS and once by USPS.
U2 was pretty courageous to enter a war zone and show their support for the Ukrainian people.
Putin and the rest are probably wondering who U2 is. What music does a lame country like Russia listen to? Funeral dirges and fascist marching bands? Man, it must suck living in Russia. Then again, they deserve it, and a lot more.
You ignore the criminal behavior of the US/Israel empire and demand I answer your question.
Which in fact I already have by noting the reasons Russia invaded:
Why do you ignore the fact that the US overthrew the elected govt of Urkaine in 2014 and installed a puppet. That Ukraine has been bombing Donetsk and Donbass for 8 years. Or that the USA surrounds Russia with military bases?
Stop avoiding the question Carmine. I know, you can't find a lunatic conspiracy theorist to answer for you, so you're kinda out of your element. Yes, you gave reasons why Russia invaded. Many people feel that those reasons (denazifying, resources, Putin's an a-hole) aren't very good.
Do you believe those reasons justify Russia invading Ukraine?
Do you think it is wrong for Russia to invade Ukraine?
He literally can't say anything negative about Russia or Putin. That would get him into trouble.
You did a scope shift. Carmine9 was responding to a poster who doubted U.S. bombs African nations on an almost daily basis. You don't want to discuss U.S. bombing African nations. You want to do a what about ... . Okay.
Ukraine & Russia is like U.S. in relation to Cuba, 1961, 1962 and to today U.S. in relation to Cuba. Ukraine & Russia is like U.S. and Grenada, 1983. Ukraine & Russia is like U.S. and Nicaragua, 1980's. U.S. Army special forces have been assigned the African killing missions and Central American killing missions.
If Mexico were to side with China, Iran, North Korea and Russia in a military agreement and trade agreements, U.S. would invade Mexico just like Russia invaded Ukraine.
Why are you pro-Biden, pro-Pelosi in Russia v. Ukraine Conflict? You're Australian? Correct? You actually post from Australia don't you?
Speaking of facile whataboutisms, that is exactly what you have done. Russia is committing in Ukraine what it has done throughout its history as the Russian Empire and then the Soviet Union, which is to invade and seek to conquer other nations. It committed genocide in Poland in 1940 and for over half a century had its heel on half of Europe. It has fought numerous proxy wars around the world to extend its influence, which is generally where it found itself in opposition to the US in the conflicts you have one-sidedly cherry-picked. In its brutal history it has also murdered millions of its own citizens. It has never known true democracy and has never respected democratic values. It is one of the ugly bullies of history, as it shows today. Without the resistance of the US and others who were like-minded we would all have been under its strutting jack boot. It must be defeated in Ukraine.
Why are you pro-Biden, pro-Pelosi in Russia v. Ukraine Conflict? You're Australian? Correct? You actually post from Australia don't you?
Is Senator Lindsey Graham pro-Biden, pro-Pelosi in the Russia v. Ukraine conflict? I mean, he called for Putin's assassination. Is Bernie Sanders pro-Biden, pro-Pelosi in the Russia v. Ukraine conflict? He's generally anti-interventionist. Maybe this isn't such a partisan issue as you portray it, but in your simple mind everything must be either Democrat or Republican.
Now the Democrat deadenders on this thread whom are cheering for Ukraine are Lindsey Graham fans. Remember your Lindsey Graham love the next time Graham blocks your favorite legislation.

Hi Cold War Whiner. No. If you could take a moment to actually read what is posted you would realize the point is that Russia’s invasion on Ukraine is such an egregious act of aggression that both Democrats and Republicans have condemned it. What was it that Mitch McConnell called Putin, “a ruthless thug”? I know that actually thinking for yourself is hard, and you want to boil things down to Left vs. Right, so you know what you’re supposed to think, but sometimes things don’t work that way.

Does USA/Israel/NATO not surround Russia with military bases?
Has NATO not relentlessly expanded to Russia's border?
Russia has land borders with 16 countries totaling around 13866 miles. Of those 16 counties, 4 are members of NATO (Estonia, Latvia, Norway, and Poland), with a total land border measuring 619 miles. Therefore, NATO has surrounded just over 4% of Russia. Now, if Putin's invasion drives Finland to join NATO, then the total will more than double to 1409 miles (~10%). So, your claims that NATO has surrounded Russia are absolutely laughable, as are your claims that NATO has "relentlessly" expanded to Russia's border.
Now, before you start your next uneducated rant fueled by watching too many conspiracy theorist videos, please answer the very simple questions I asked.
Is it wrong for Russia to invade Ukraine?
Why do you think the video in post #3393 is "absurd propaganda" and not a legitimate video showing Russian dropped getting blown to little tiny pieces that are so small that nobody will bother scraping the bits off the rocks and sending them home?
carmine9 Why do you not answer the questions I asked? Here, I'll repeat it for you: Is it wrong for Russia to invade Ukraine?
Answered several times.
The onus is on USA/Israel/NATO
No. You haven't answered it. You've given reasons why you think Russia invaded. But, you haven't said whether you think those reasons make it right for Russia to invade Ukraine.

List of nations added with year of entry since USSR fell: Hungary (1999) Poland (1999) Czech Republic (1999) Romania (2004) Slovakia (2004) Slovenia (2004) Bulgaria (2004) Estonia (2004) Latvia (2004) Lithuania (2004) Albania (2009) Croatia (2009) Montenegro (2017) Northern Macedonia (2020)
carmine9 It's a simple question: Why do you think the video in post #3393 is "absurd propaganda"? Are you able to answer this simple question?
Common sense
Common sense says that the US never sent troops or had any military action in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Yemen, Somalia, Georgia, Djibouti, Kenya, Ethiopia, Eritrea. Why would they? Most Americans haven't even heard of those countries. I'm not even convinced Djibouti is a real place (wasn't that the planet in Avatar?) And we all know Georgia is just North Florida. Any evidence to the contrary is clearly anti-American propaganda. So, since the US military has just sat around doing nothing for the last two decades, why is Russia so scared of America?
(You're kinda slow, so I feel the need to point out that this is sarcasm. I'm calling out the fact that you can't provide any evidence that a bunch of Russian sailors didn't get turned into fish food in the video.)
