Do you honestly think Trump believes he lost the election fairly?
You can't possibly believe that.
His beliefs are irrelevant. He’s being prosecuted for his crimes.
Three of the four indictments are pretty much made up crimes. Only one is a legit crime according to the letter of the law, but it is a law that wasn’t enforced against both Clintons, Obama, Pence, Biden, Bush, Bush Jr and about 80 other members of congress. Basically every Administration since Reagan has gotten sideways with NARA.

Of course, with respect to the documents case the difference is the extent of the lying and obstruction. Biden, Pence and Obama cooperated. And the 1800 boxes that Biden has and Trump complains about are irrelevant because they are Senate document and by law they belong to the Senator, not NARA.
As to whether any of the counts in the federal or state election cases are real crimes is unknown until the extent of the evidence is known. But the Georgia law is written very broadly, and that is the legislature's fault, not the prosecutor's fault.

Senators don't carry around classified documents. He stole them.
Doing some CYA AFTER you weaponize the government to go after your primary political opponent for a lesser version of a crime you yourself committed isn't the boy scout behavior you seem to think it is.
It is Painfully obvious that many here still have not read the indictments. Here are the ways you can quickly tell right wingers have not read the indictments. Look for these comments:
1. Everybody has had documents so this proves Trump is being targeted by a weaponized DOJ. (Proves they are completely oblivious to the charges of espionage and obstruction unique to his case).
2. Trump is being indicted for making a phone call. (Oblivious to the RICO charges and unlawful schemes)
3. If Trump believed he won, that is his right. Nobody can tell me he did not believe he won. (what Trump believes is entirely meaningless and irrelevant).
4. There is no evidence that Trump caused people to break into the capitol. (He is not being charged with causing people to break into the capitol. These are very narrow charges. Read the indictment)
5. Trump has a first amendment right to say what he wants. (He is not being processed for words. Read the damn indictment so you don't look like an imbecile repeatedly.)

It might be painfully obvious to you that many never will and could care less. You are who you are. A baby trying to get his way.

4X World Peace Champion
We were at war during Trump’s entire presidency. We aren’t at war now.
“I don’t want people to know we lost, Mark. This is embarrassing,” Hutchinson testified that Trump told her boss at the time, White House chief of staff Mark Meadows. “Figure it out".

I think this encapsulates the conservative mindset perfectly. Essentially: we do not care about facts because, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, we have decided that our narrative is correct, and all others are wrong. Also, screaming that everyone is a Communist is a nice 1950s swath of icing on top. Utterly meaningless and untethered from reality.

Yes, it’s a traditional American mindset. you attack us with a racist Black Panther attorney, and we get the point. Have a great day!
