But let's see if he has a kick in a 3:25 race!

I told you all Kerr was laser focused and would show up battle ready! Perfectly peaked once again. Nothing you could do about Hocker like this though lol. Jakob needs to be humbled badly to learn to respect the competition. Hopefully he at least respects the hard work those pacers have done for him over the seasons. He thought he was hot $hit and got smoked in his own game. I don't know how he mentally recovers from this third terrible loss. Official that Tokyo was a fluke with Tim pacing him. He can't win when not paced.
I thought segregation was eliminated in the 21st century, but this 3000SC says otherwise
Yeah if he was going to lead the whole way, it had to be like, perfectly even paced 56s the whole way. IMO he should have saved that 54 for the penultimate lap and then total gas for the last 400, hope to run a 1:47 final 800 or something.
What am irritation the male commentator was. Despite being corrected he continually mispronounced Hocker's name.
What a performance from Hocker.
All the USA guys were spectacular.

Did Kerr get in Ingebrigtsen’s head to the point he ignored everyone else? moving wide on the curve to block Kerr and opening the door to Hocker! Kinda disrespectful if so, Hocker really cashed in on his kick tonight!
That's exactly what happened. No way Hocker should have been able to pass on the inside after boxing himself in like that.
What was that again??

Damn that was quality. I wanted Kerr to win but the manner of Hocker's victory was incredible. The most impressive thing, other than the time, is that he kicked once in the last 100 then had to kick again after Jakob shut the door on him. I don't think I've ever seen that before.
No podium for Jakob, not sure how he comes back from that in the 1500. The guy changed the game and forced everyone to level up by improving their strength. Well, they have, and now so many can hang with him and still kick. It's hard to see how he wins another 1500 gold again.
maybe, i think we can disregard his kick at our peril

yes. the first lap was way too hard. should have let somebody else lead 400-600 or something like that.
Pre would be proud.
This steeplechase....is it Africa vs the rest of the world? Half the field forget there is a race today?
