I’m revising my earlier picks after tonight
I think ScR is going to win, Thomas 2nd, Clark 3rd. Steiner is a good bit behind those 3, IMHO, and may not even get 4th.
Wayment better save something for the kick. that's been her achilles heel all year.
There is still a decent chance Shacarri blows the whole thing. We have all seen athletes peak at this meet and show up a month later running a lot slower. If anyone can that, it's Shacarri.

We don't know the training Mu has been doing but I'm convinced that if she switched to pure 1500 training for a couple of years she'd at a minimum break the AR.
The only woman who has ever run sub-50 and sub-4 is Caster Semenya. Mu running 4:03 is impressive, but she isn't knocking another 10 seconds off. It comes down to muscle types and the capabilities of the muscles. That's not going to change because she varies her training.
Not nearly enough anyway.

I like the tracking chips though - it's cool to see the split of every 100m, especially in the 800

Gear in a good spot. she has an amazing kick, loves to stalk then blow by runners on final lap. might be tough with these leaders though
Gear might win. Holy
