I appreciate K9s as much as anyone, but they are not heroes.
They are forced into service by humans and have no concept of the idea that they could be injured or killed, so they can't be heroes. Ok to praise a dog for his/her service, but hero talk is nonsense.
They have already said there will be one more hearing and then a final report!!!
The hearing was supposed to be on Sept. 28, but it was postponed due to the hurricane!!!
Do you think the ending of the hearings means they have no damning information on Donald J. Trump?!!!
They have already provided a mountain of evidence that he knew about and orchestrated the attack on the capitol!!!
You do know that hearings eventually end, right?!!! And that they will more than likely make a criminal referral to the DOJ, right?!!! And that their referral doesn't even really matter, because it is clear the DOJ is already deep into its investigation of Donald J. Trump and his minions regarding the crimes they committed on Jan. 6?!!!
No crimes for Donald J. Trump?!!! Where is your head, fool?!!!
Pretend it is Donald J. Trump's policies that favor the rich and screw the poor and minorities that you like if you wish, but for you to deny he is a full-on criminal is ridiculous!!!
Sally, just so you know, Bennie Thompson has said (as well as others on the committee) that there will be one more hearing. The fact that it's not on the schedule is immaterial.
You do seem to have an odd view of these hearings, as if it means anything when they stop. They were never designed to be something that threw the book at Trump as the committee doesn't have that power. I said a long time ago that the hearings were really aimed at an audience of one...Merrick Garland (and a secondary audience the American people). With the DOJ now stepping up its investigation into the Trump henchmen by taking phones etc., it appears that at a minimum, the hearings didn't do any harm.
Maybe pay attention and pull your head out of your ass.

Or else just admit that you're the kind of asshoIe who thinks everyone with a Spanish name [Add: who is believed to have committed a crime] is a) an illegal immigrant, and b) a Democrat--which would be interesting, since aren't you one of the people who's been telling us that Hispanics are all going Republican now?
I'll second that emotion. Looks like SV is on the board, so I'm sure s/he will immediately give you the info that you requrested.
The Supreme Court on Monday rejected MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell’s bid to fend off a defamation lawsuit the voting machine company Dominion Voting Systems filed over his far-fetched claims about the 2020 presidential election. The justices’ decision not to hear the case means a federal judge’s ruling in August 2021 that allowed the lawsuit to move forward remains in place. Lindell, a prominent TV salesman for the pillows his company makes, is an outspoken supporter of former President Donald Trump.

I fail to see any humor in this. The YouTube comments are just going into the echo chamber and I don't see how they can be amused by this. Must be simple minded.

Still waiting..
And for the record, I'm glad that the Dem who was involved in ballot stuffing is going back to prison. I hope they put him so far back that they have to pipe the sunlight to him.
Former Democratic Rep. Michael J. “Ozzie” Myers, of Philadelphia, was sentenced to 2½ years after he admitted he worked with election officials to pad the vote tallies of his political consulting clients.
EVERYBODY who so flagrantly and deliberately breaks election laws should face the possibility of prison, wouldn't you say? You know, the way Michael Cohen did? And the way his co-conspirator should?

The punishment for breaking campaign finance laws is a small fine.

often, yes.
but many have been sentenced to prison for campaign finance crimes.
Trumper:
Igor Fruman, a former Rudy Giuliani associate, has been sentenced to a year in prison for helping a foreign national donate to American politicians, the Associated Press reported on Friday. Fruman, a Ukrainian-born businessman, previously pleaded guilty to an illegal straw donation scheme that sought to hide the true source of $1 million in campaign donations. Fruman and Lev Parnas were covering for Andrey Muraviev, a Russian entrepreneur, who was hoping to use the illegal donations to launch a marijuana business.

Note the key words: "flagrantly" and "deliberately." Campaigns break the campaign finance laws frequently, but usually the breach is inadvertent. In those cases, you're absolutely right: The punishment is typically a fine, though not always "small." (Well, at least by my lights any fine in the six figures isn't small.)

I was wrong to assume Francisco Galarza was an illegal. I apologize for that. But his obituary mentions his birth date but does not mention where he was born. He had arrest warrants out for home invasion and bank robbery. He was no John Boy Walton. He was warned before they opened fire. The K9 is a police officer and when a gun is pointed at him the officers have a duty to protect the dog. They did that. Mr. Galarza, after being warned, could have dropped his gun. He failed to do that.

He had felony arrest warrants out for home invasion and bank robbery and he is carrying a gun around??? You really think anything good is coming out of that?

So we agree that he was a bad guy--and you have NOTHING to indicate that he was either an illegal immigrant or a Democrat, except for your RACIST STEREOTYPING. Got it.
I go by past history - when a hispanic named person who lives in Az, Tx. or NM, and commit a violent crime, most often they are an illegal person. You can hide under the covers but I deal in facts.
