My dear, I wanted to add one more pertinent point in light of Kelvin's death in the past tense (to alliterate rekrunner!).
Might it be inconsistent to say that a seemingly very fit and strong Kelvin in training could ultimately seemed to cause his own death due to lack of physical and mental fitness and acuity on the roads or at the driver's wheel???
Personally, based on my RF expertise and experience, under suitable or ripe circumstanes even the nicest and kindest guy on earth can ultimately LOSE CONTROL OF HIS NERVOUS SYSTEM and lift the axe and slay his own wife or girlfriend or the ones he supposedly loves much less then the most healthy and physically/mentally fit distance runner losing control of his nervous system to then make a wrong judgement or decision in space and time as a driver on a road resulting in his own death and others!
Being extremely physically and mentally fit on the other hand ironically aggravates the conditions that might be suitable to cause an accident on the road precisely because one is so physically and mentally fit as to TAKE FOR GRANTED all safety precautions, or, take unnecessary risks due to the illusion of ease/comfort or lack of danger in space-time offered or TEMPTED/SEDUCED to the nervous system by generous physical and mental fitness or otherwise!!!
An analogy would be------a huge big body-builder is unlikely to find a small puny pigmy a physical threat to his life or comfort the same way a very mentally and physically fit marathoner like Kelvin is unlikely to find the steering wheel, the roads, the darkness and lack of lights, the late-hour of 11pm, the terrible road accident history of the highway a physical or environment threat/short-coming/weakness to his life or comfort on the roads!!! It's that ILLUSION OF INVINCIBILITY, you know what I mean my dear Rojo???
Yeah, I explain it uncannily and clairvoyantly very well here........thank you :)
