People's anger comes from the presumption of guilt and then that would imply Shelby's actions reflecting a belief that she can cheat with impunity.
Consider for a moment how she might act IF you assume she is innocent. Probably exactly as she is. At least if it were me, and I were in my athletic prime, had devoted my whole life to a profession and these games were to be what defined my career, I wouldn't be so graceful to just bow out and say, "Rules are rules, and even though I'm innocent I guess I just have to accept that my reputation and career are being unfairly destroyed. Oh well."

Go to Target, pick up a box of Throw Throw Burrito, you'll get two foam burritos ideal for throwing.
It would be awesome to see hundreds of foam burritos littering the backstretch.
I thought you were joking about the Throw Throw Burrito, but I checked and it's a real thing! What kind of wacky entrepreneur came up with that idea?
I have it. It's a sheit game. Don't bother. And don't bother harming Shelby. You all look really pathetic. She's a clean athlete. Watch the full press conference then form an opinion

Bro, this is brilliant. This would make great TV. There's a Chipotle on University St. I'll grab maybe 5-6 and leave them wrapped in the aluminum foil and chuck them on the track in front of Shelby before the race starts.. .reminds me of when Brooks flied that plane over the Trials!!
Based on my seats, it's a big throw, but I'm sure I'll be able to walk around.

I won't be at the trials, so would you boo her for me, please?

I'm just saying, I'd fight through every recourse I had. And if a lawyer of mine told me I had an option to still do the trials and I'd just have to hope for an expedited hearing, you better believe I will give it a try. Better than walking away with my tail between my legs and just feeling sorry for myself that I got a raw deal.
Does Shelby really want to be the Gatlin of women?
She will have hard time at the trials if she doesn't pull out on the day.

Double bonus: centro unfollowed shelbo on IG also
This unfollowing stuff reminds me of third grade. Why do our elites think they get some sort of public relations pass when they unfollowed a former colleague who is down on their luck?
I guess her friends aren't really friends. Lesson to be learned, who you think are your friends are actually mere acquaintances.
A real friend wouldn't unfollow because of this. A real friend would probable have some sort of clue how terribly difficult this must be for her and whether or not she/he believed her, that person would look after her. Making sure she knew people still cared about her.
People have committed sewer pipes for less than what SH is going through.
Think about it. If it was your family member. Would you all be on LRC trashing her?
Give an honest answer.
Where have you been dude? Quigley and Shelby aren’t friends. They hate each other. Centro and Shelby used to date and broke up so I’m sure that isn’t the best of relationships. No friends unfollowed her
It would be better to unwrap the burrito. You could still get some good air time and throw on it but a better visual and more effective landing of said burrito.

They are doing the right thing allowing an innocent runner to compete.
This is a hard thing to balance. If she is innocent she is going to do everything possible to compete. Not so sure that would be the case if she was guilty. Most people who are caught (not just accused but actually caught) give up pretty easily without a big fight.
Surely you are not serious. They generally fight like hell. And Shelby was caught, both A and B samples confirmed. Also, see Lance Armstrong.

Burrito will definitely come apart if thrown unwrapped. Maybe just leave the top of the foil open?
i hope she get booed out of the stadium. what a disgrace to the sport

Why should we waste time considering her innocence when both the AIU and CAS, who have far more information than any of us have about the situation, have already done it and found her to be guilty?
So the key question has not yet been answered. Your standard pig organ burrito, if it ever truly existed at that truck, would never contain enough andro to set off the marker at that level. Probably not 2 burritos either. So how many is she claiming? Has the burrito truck owner been interviewed?

Of course this makes the most sense.
I am beginning to think that we are witnessing an elaborate publicity stunt. The big stage has arrived, the Olympics. The general public in the US pays practically no attention to track and field at any other time. The problem is that much of the general public thinks that the Olympics have been cancelled or drastically pared down. A dog-and-pony show is needed to remind people that the Olympics will go on as usual, hence the Houlihan pork burrito publicity stunt.
95% of the US population did not know who Shelby Houlihan was until this week.
98% of the US population knows what a burrito is.

Fair point

Shelly testing positive wasn't part of the PR stunt. USATF letting her run in the Trials is.

I agree but innocence they do not believe. Sheeple.
