It is hysterical to force people. Yout side took it one step top far. Case in point: if people like you were not hysterical, they wouldn't force others to get the vaccine and encourage (and force) employers to develop policies which threaten termination.
They would look at the survival rates, which I astutely posted above, and chill.
To repeat, 99.97% chance at surviving. That is what you are hysterical about.
And, for ADDITIONAL protection and peace of mind, they would get the vaccine, and chill.
And leave other people alone.
You have to admit that you and people like you are hysterical. Even if you don't, that is essentially the path you've chosen. Funny how people claim covid is an emergency on social media yet when you see their pictures on facebook, they are partying, travelling, acting as if life is ok. I thought you guys said we are in a state of emergency!
Gotta love the mixed signals!
When it comes to excessive vax mandates, you're suffering from a problem of authenticity.
How about all the politicians caught not socially distancing? Not wearing masks? They make pretty heavy statements about "covid emergency measures" yet they themselves don't seem to be as frightened as the gravity of their executive orders.
How about those illegal immigrants? This is not what-aboutism. This is an honest question. How come vaccine mandates do not apply 100% to every adult human within our territory?
Your side looks at people in the grocery store who happen to let out a cough as if they are not your fellow Americans but rather these giant germs. Who need to be "removed." That mentality is quite evil and lacks empathy that all humans get sick. It is a fact of life. The flu similar in that it is communicable, it can sometimes kill people, and there is a vaccine for it. People can choose to get the flu shot. Or not. And life goes on.
I am the chill one, bro. But hey, keep trying to convince us normal, breathing, hope-filled optimistic, and confident people that the world is ending. You'll only prove my point further: you are hysterical when it comes to vaccine mandates.
Ok we get it, you just do not care that 700k more Americans have died over the last 18 months than prior trends would suggest.
You do not care those excess deaths are after at most 50% attack rate, suggesting 1.4 million excess deaths in an uncontrolled pandemic (Delta herd immunity threshold is very high).
You also don’t care that getting COVID is bad. For every person who died there were 3-5 more who spent a good chunk of time in the hospital. And maybe 10-20x more laid low with bad symptoms for days. And lots who are still dealing with respiratory damage.
That fact is, a vast majority of current deaths would be prevented with mass vaccination. Had everyone done the smart thing, we wouldn’t be seeing thousands of deaths a day. We gave people the chance to make decisions for themselves but too many morons decided to fall for propaganda and look what happened: thousands dead, hospitals filled, mass tragedy again.
Now, faced with being totally wrong over and over again, you choose to get all hysterical about government “mandates” which still don’t force anyone to get vaccinated (can test in lieu).
If you’re mad about private employers setting rules for their employees, maybe move to a socialist European state with more workers rights?
Lastly if you’re upset that your employer is forcing you to get the vax… maybe there’s a reason they’re the boss and you’re just an employee?
