We all accept that you have no idea. You don't need to convince us. Now, going back to being neutral (aka, irrelevant).
p.s. I also have Ukrainian speaking family in Kyiv. They all think Putin is a f*ckin' monster and wish Russia would piss off. They've felt this way for years and his latest actions just confirm it.
So you : 1) Do not speak russian 2) Do not speak ukrainian 3) Have never even been to Russia or Ukraine 4) Do not have a degree in politics and/or history
Also I highly doubt you have family in Kyiv. No wonder nobody outside of the US likes Americans, you guys are full of it.
1) Nope.
2) Nope.
3) Wrong.
4) No (I majored in something useful). But, I am at a place where I have access to many smart people that not only majored in politics or history, but have devoted their lives to it. That place is clearly not LRC.
5) Wrong again.
So, you get a 60% - that's failing where I'm at. Now, tell us where Zelensky touched you to make you so triggered about Russia being an abject failure, Switzerland being a disappoint no-show on the world stage (as always), and Ukraine showing big brass ones that you only wish you could touch.
Hey paid Russian troll, if you ran 1500m at college level. Tell us who’s back baby.
I make very good money with my company, so I don't have to get paid for posting. Wouldn't even have a first idea how one gets paid for posting actually.
Webb just ran 4:13.
Imagine someone speaking Ukrainian and Russian, following the situation closely since 2013 and NOT being paid by Putin. YOU need to ask yourself why the US is so invested in Ukraine, that they've sent over $3 Billion in military aid.
Did your family back in Donetsk cheer on the Russian terrorists when the shot down a civilian airplane?

Well, so where exactly have you been in Ukraine? Have you been to Eastern-Ukraine, where people are being killed off an terrorized by Azov batallion for simply speaking Russian? Or did you just visit Kiev for the lovely ladies?
Zelensky is an oligarch puppet, just read what German media was writing about him 3 years ago. He was also mixed up in the Panama papers scandal.
Over 5 million Ukrainians have fled since the beginning of this war. The only reason why Ukraine still exists is that it is forbidden and punishable by law for Ukrainian men to leave the country. Otherwise half of Ukraine would already be in Europe and also never come back. So much for the brass ones. If it was the case, there would be no such law needed.
For anybody who wants to understand how and when the war in Ukraine has begun, just watch this exerpt from Obamas interview with CNN’s Fareed Zakaria:
"... Mr. Putin made this decision around Crimea and Ukraine — not because of some grand strategy, but essentially because he was caught off-balance by the protests in the Maidan and Yanukovych then fleeing after we had brokered a deal to transition power in Ukraine..."

Which does not mean that the US installed Zelensky or that the US initiated the Maidan protests. Once the Ukrainian people decided they wanted to modernize and say “F*ck you!” to Putin and Russia, and Yanukoych got driven out of the country, the US probably did help Ukraine carry out a fair election. Lord knows Switzerland was too busy being neutral nobodys to actually do anything useful.
Putin isn't going to use nuclear weapons against the west, because doing so would be a form of suicide. There is no scenario where one of the world's richest men chooses death, just because he got his nose bloodied in Ukraine.
The end game is up to Putin. He started this war for no real reason and he can stop it whenever he wants to. The Ukrainians aren't going to stop fighting to defend their lives. The West can continue to supply them forever, at minimal cost.
Like I said, taking about nuclear is a weak bluff that exposes the real weakness of the Russian hand.
Defcon is spinning fantasy scenarios. The West's endgame doesn't require trying Putin for war crimes or invading Russia to apprehend him. They would be satisfied with a withdrawal of Russia from Ukraine and keeping some of the sanctions (including the personal sanctions on Putin and his inner circle) in place. The threat of war crimes would keep Putin confined to Russia or other friendly countries (so much for enjoying those yachts).
Wouldn't Ukraine demand a international war crime tribunal? And what about war reparations? I suppose Ukraine would just forgive & forgot. Lol.
Honestly, since the MSM has painted Putin as a modern day Hitler, just being satisfied with his withdrawal from Ukraine is comical. Do you realize he'd get the last laugh? The allegations of war crimes shouldn't be used loosely. Remember - there was the Nuremberg trials post-WW2 that sought to indict & punish every Nazi war criminal, especially those Nazi's involved in the Warmacht high-command.

If Putin tucks tail and retreats, it seems most likely that the rest of the world would move on.
They'd be satisfied with a Russia that is militarily embarrassed, economically destroyed, and humiliated for generations.
You didn't answer all of my questions - you basically just dismissed the nuclear threat. So what if he doesn't want to stop it...what happens then? Does the death & destruction continue to the point where the world grows immune to it & no one cares anymore how many lives are lost day to day? Or does the U.S. & NATO eventually pull the trigger starting a full-scale military conflict in Eastern Europe?
Suppose the unexpected occurs and Putin actually withdrawals his forces & ends the fighting...what then? Does he swallow his pride & apologize to the Russian citizens, who at the point would want him to step down & remove himself from the public spotlight. And what the war crimes? Is an international tribunal implemented indicting Putin of war crimes? And would Putin just benevolently turn himself in to the international authorities? And what about the billions of dollars of war reparations that Ukraine is entitled to? Does Russia just open up it's checkbook & give Ukraine whatever it wants in reparations?
I think this conflict is far more complicated than people understand. Both the Russia & the U.S. have their finger on the nuclear trigger.
Here are some answers to your pointless, fantastical, questions:
Putin can end this whenever he wants to. All he has to do is withdrawal from Ukraine. The deaths and destruction with continue until he does.
The US and NATO are not going to engage Russia in direct war unless he invades a NATO country.
Putin isn't accountable to the Russian population. He doesn't need to do anything to stay in power.
Russia will never pay reparations to Ukraine.
Putin will never face justice for war crimes.
For all these reasons, plus the ones I stated before, Putin is not going to use nuclear weapons against the west. Talk of nuclear war is just to distract from the spectacular failures of this Russian war of choice.
Never face justice for war crimes? Well then...if the war crimes actually occurred & they're are not made up by the MSM - then why would Putin never face a tribunal?
And you say Russia would never be forced to make reparations? FFS, his military has practically annihilated half the country into oblivion. So, who picks up the tab? Oh...I know...the U.S. taxpayers will keep forking over billions of dollars in aid to Ukraine. Lol
And if Putin doesn't withdrawal - then the U.S., NATO, the UN, etc, are all okay with the death & destruction continuing indefinitely?

1) Most reasonable people would accept a humiliating retreat as enough from Russia. We understand that Putin cannot be externally brought to justice for many reasons. So, yes -- there's no need to demand his head. Simply Russian humiliation is enough.
2) Your argument seems to be "this is heading for nuclear war because the West will never accept a Putin retreat as enough!" Everyone else is like "no, we understand a full withdrawal would be the best we can get, and we'll take it." So no, there wouldn't escalation if Putin gave up.
3) The death and destruction would never continue indefinitely. Russia has a fix supply of materiel and manpower that is being destroyed at a surprisingly high rate. They cannot sustain these losses forever. Modern NATO weapons will only accelerate this.
If Russia send one nuclear weapon, the rest will be detonated within Russia by preemptive NATO strikes, which weapons already obviously lock and loaded on all Russian military sites. You might want to move.
NATO would also have to locate all of Russia's subs & preemptively take them out.

I think our subs shadow Russian subs. We try to keep them in our crosshairs, just in case. Sleep well and don't worry about them.

I'm sure you're right. If the U.S. & Russia were to go to war let's just hope each Russian sub encounter will have a positive U.S. outcome such as depicted in the movie "Hunter Killer."

Yes...I think there's a reasonable possibility this could ultimately end up in a nuclear conflict of some sort. When you brag about Ukraine beating the snot of the Russians & embarrassing them and so on, Ukraine is not accomplishing this without U.S. military aide. The U.S. is providing Ukraine with state-of-art high-tech weaponry as well as military intelligence from the U.S.'s high-tech satellite & drone surveillance operations. Putin knows this - he's not stupid.
So, what would stop Putin from striking a U.S./NATO military target with one of his hypersonic Tsirkon cruise missiles? The U.S.would retaliate swiftly with a nuke strike on one of Russia's military targets. Congress would follow with a Declaration of War on Russia and in a matter of hours, you have the opening "kickoff" of a full-scale military conflict in Eastern Europe.

Well we can only ask ourselves, what the f*ck was the US doing "brokering a deal to transition power in Ukraine". Whose snipers where those on the roof shooting at both the police and the protesters, to escalate violence, considering that Maidan was stagnating for weeks prior to that?
Also, what happened in Maidan was NOT democratic. A violent coup of a small minority of the country overthrows a democratically elected president. Imagine if the same thing would have happened during the storming of capitol in 2021, with mysterious snipers killing people on both sides. Then later Putin comes out in an interview stating that he helped "brokering a deal to transition power in the US". Would that be in order for you?
The US needs to take all of its toys, soldiers and go home. Protect your country from the inside, not the outside. Whatever you're doing in Europe is not democratic, since not a single person (except politicians) wants you here. Literally, nobody.
Putin will face charges for doing it with farm animals.
Also, media just released report stating Russians are taking uniforms off dead Russian soldiers to reuse them. I like how they recycle. However, doing it with farm animals is not cool. We vegans don’t approve of that.

Yeah, animals are definitely off limits. Only children should be molested by politicians!
Epstein was something of a farmer himself. Clinton and Trump were definitely enjoying children on his island.
CNN reports that Putin received a pig heart transplant. Residual hormones caused severe sexual attraction to pigs, male pigs especially because the heart was from a female pig. Putin even went so far as to get a female pig tattooed on his back to make the pig pound him harder.
