Rojo -No one is saying they are certain anyone is clean. They are saying that USADA needs to wrap it up.Aden’s athlete had EPO on site. There is a chance Dibaba is clean but I think it looks bad. USADA has innuendo from former athletes who all seems to say they ran clean. Salazar rebutted a lot of what Goucher and Magness said with no substantive response from them. They did an investigation and reached a conclusion about the speed of a drip. I would welcome more journalism on the topic rather than random leading questions at press conferences,

Ok , do you also say the same thing about Aden/Dibaba?
To everyone who thinks Rupp is definitely clean and the investigation has gone on too lng, do you also say the same thing about Aden/Dibaba?
Yes he did. He, as Sketchy Meb correctly pointed out, revealed himself as a sore loser. He has too large of an ego and it is ugly when it rears its head through jealous public comments.
False.
Meb was whining about Rupp running too close to him.
Meb was whining about Rupp running too close to him.
That is true. What isn’t true is that Meb’s statements to LRC were foolish, that Meb is sketchy, that he has a large ego that leads to him airing jealous public comments, etc.

Can't have it both was in my book.
And your point is?
Rupp is definitely clean. The "evidence," of the 10+ yr old picture in 2002, which is the last straw the skeptics are clinging to, falls apart when you really examine it.
It's measuring hemoglobin, not testosterone. And it's too old, unrealiable, and most of all, too ambiguous of a source to be considered anyway.
The real evidence is Rupp running 2x / day in high school. Fact. The real evidence is Rupp having superior genetic quality than any other American distance runner. Fact. Smarter training. Intrepid racing (i.e. he entered in many short fast races over the years, knowing he would get beat, in order to become a fiercer competitor). Improving his weaknesses, a la kick.
By comparing to ethiopian runners, who live on faraway continents, whose daily training schedules we know little about, youre confusing the subject.
rupp ran 13:37 in high school. he broke meb's american record time when he was less than one year out of college.
And if the relevant findings of the investigations are accurate, Rupp has been using exogenous testosterone since he was in high school. He's undeniably a prodigious talent, but even the "Yeah, well if he's doping now, he musta been doping as a teenager too" rejoinder, which is usually posed as an argument against PED use, doesn't apply to Rupp. He's been Salazar's robot since he was around 16.
Shalane's value to Nike is at an end. One thing about the Shoe business, is you move on to the next thing without emotion. The next thing is Jordan . Nike and NOP are admired by more people than detractors , just not on this site. After NY marathon , I can see Shalane wearing Hoka's .
May have been a little premature to say her value was at an end after Chicago. Today was pretty valuable.

Prediction of the year.
I think Shalane's value just went up. Whether or not she cashes in on it will be up to her.
Salazar and Rupp have denied the charges, stating repeatedly that they have not broken any rules. Neither Salazar, Rupp, nor any other member of the NOP has been charged or sanctioned by any governing body. But because USADA has yet to release the results of its investigation, many people still have questions about Salazar and the NOP. Count Keflezighi and Flanagan among them.
"That program, the NOP has been under investigation for the last two years," Flanagan said in a conference call with reporters ahead of November 5's TCS New York City Marathon, which Flanagan and Keflezighi will run. "So as a fan of my own sport, it’s hard to have full excitement and faith when you don’t know all the facts yet. There’s still an investigation going on so it’s hard to truly and genuinely get excited about the performances that I’m watching.
"And I think it’s really important to consider who you associate with. We don’t get to choose our parents, but we certainly get to choose our friends and our coaches and who we want to include in our circle and put our faith and our trust in. I think it’s really important to think about who you include in your professional circle in this sport, and I think that who you choose to allow in says a lot about you."
When asked for his thoughts on Chicago, Keflezighi praised the performances of Rupp and Hasay.
"I’m happy for Galen and Alberto, but there’s things that are still going on so it’s hard to comprehend," Keflezighi said. "I’m [inaudible] that he won and I know she ran also, I think 2:20:57 so that’s amazing, especially in their second marathon and fourth marathon. So they achieved a lot."
When he was asked to expand on his comment of "things that are still going on," Keflezighi responded thusly.
"Well that’s the same thing you know. I’m pretty sure you’ve done your homework. There's a lot of speculation going on and I would love to know what’s going on and how far it’s gotten. There’s allegations going on, so that’s what it is."
You could have searched for people that had a positive word about Rupp, but the choice was to seek a negative . Interesting how things play out over time .

“Hi im shalane and those mean NOP athletes are mean dopers who cant be trusted (even tho none of them have tested positive) and my group is squeaky clean (even tho we train w banned athletes)”

NOP actually kept the team together , with the exception of Magness who was fired .
Seems like shalane knows something. Im guessing she isnt allowed to say anything against nike that isnt well known fact, so she walke right to that line but didnt cross it
Yes , Shalane knows something . Something about Shelby .
