Agreed, and obviously Rengeruk falling changed things. Tebogo jogged in a 19.87. Very stoic afterwards, but I suspect he’s hurting with what’s gone on off the track.

I remember when Decker ran that. It was during an all-comers meet at Hayward Field, just before she left for the Olympics. It was a world record at the time and may have even been hand-timed!
The 2000 isn’t run all that often, but still kind of amazing that that time stood as the AR for 40 years, considering the circumstance in which Decker ran it.
