If he paces himself well this is Kandies race to lose.

I heard in NY this weekend that mary wittenberg left because her contract was renewed. How in the world was that the case? I'd love for her to come back.
This is crazy. They are interviewing a guy who win 1987w hen we are nearly 2 hours into the women's race. Oh they do split screen. yeah!!

So the 2 leaders are on sub 2:08 at HM with a 51" lead, I'd be surprised if they can keep up considering their PR is 2:07...
Huh? You'd be surprised if they run a minute slower then their PR? In perfect weather conditions?
I see you're new to running so here's a pro-tip : compare the friggin' NYC MARATHON times and PRs, you're welcome.
When Mutai ran 2:05 here, it was the fastest friggin marathon ever run on U.S. soil.
Kandie looks very impressive. What a fast comeback!
Krap just krap coverage

The "friggin" NYC Marathon?? A new sponsor we're not aware of? Here's an amateur tip, it's the TCS NYC Marathon.
That was a weak come back bro. Stunk.
Yeah, so bad I didn't even bother but you're right that clown needs all the shame he can get !

Um, what?
Did the commentator just say a foursome sounds exciting? Must be a big golf fan.
Not sure if Lagats commentated on any other races but if this is his debut, lets hope he's never brought back.
Awful..and hes a runner, you'd think he'd give us more useful info and insights.
This is an American race. We should have 2 cameras for each race, one on the leaders, and one on the top americans.
Kandieman is back in the race!
The announcer just said ' I don't know where she came from'.....neither do we, it was not on the screen

Now ABC7 missed the second part of the women's group drop and Cheptoo stepping up and joining the lead pack. They missed the ENTIRE thing due to more commercials, pretaped feel good crap and interviewing some dude. I mean, you can't even see the group behind the top 3.
Oh, and they also COMPLETELY missed Kandie and Korir catch Faniel and Al Aaraby. They at least are now catching Al Aaraby currently getting dropped. But nope, back to the women, zero view of how far Al Aaraby was back.
Pathetic, infuriating coverage.

Bekele is done. Molly is done. Ben True is done. Oh well
really? i can't watch the race but the tracker indicates that bekele has started to push the pace?
How in the world is Lagat's sister up there? Why aren't they talking about that more?
My god.
Has she been in the wrong event all these years?
Can we get her to switch over to USA?
I mean we aren't even getting any analysis about what he think sof her moving up in distance, what she was hoping for , etc.
Who coaches her?
Kandie and Korir just dropped Al Aaraby and Daniel.
korir and kandie with 4:34min/mile pace. mama mia.
Does not wanting my kids to watch a bisexual threesome at the Olympics make me a bigot?
