Hitler had the red army on the outskirts of Berlin and the British/US coming from the west. There is no scenario that I can image where Russia is on the verge of falling to an invading enemy army. No matter what happens in Ukraine, Putin will still be one of the richest and most powerful men in earth.
So many people here are openly demonstrating their ignorance, without even realizing it, it's simply astounding.
If you:
1) don't speak russian
2) don't speak ukrainian
3) have never even been to Russia or Ukraine
4) do not have a degree in politics and/or history,
there is no way for you to even remotly know or understand what's really going on in Ukraine, who Putin is or what he wants.
So everything you feel like sharing on this topic is nothing more than speculation or bits and pieces of regurgitated state propaganda. Just accept it, you have no idea.
If you want to know anything about Ukraine, just ask. I can answer your every question from the perspective of a Russian speaking Ukrainian, who has family in Donezk.
And no, Putin is not paying me anything, just like Biden is not paying you either. And yes, I was a runner, on a collegiate level in 1500m.
Putin just announced he will respond “swiftly” if foreigners interfere with Russia’s war in Ukraine. Foreign support has been happening for two months already. Ha ha. What a limp dicke statement he just made.
We all accept that you have no idea. You don't need to convince us. Now, going back to being neutral (aka, irrelevant).
p.s. I also have Ukrainian speaking family in Kyiv. They all think Putin is a f*ckin' monster and wish Russia would piss off. They've felt this way for years and his latest actions just confirm it.

Ukrainians are not fighting to defend their lives. They are fighting for their right to be servants of The West (and Poland), maybe for some piece of land, too.
If it was about life, they'd give up fighting and go home watch some TV.
pathetic threat since NATO has been supplying Ukraine with weapons, training, and intel for two months now
“If anyone would want to interfere with what’s happening in Ukraine now, from the outside, they have to know Russia’s response will be swift and fast,” he said.
I don't know how to tell you this nicely. You're an idiot.
And what is Russia fighting for? Crown for most embarrassing "special military operation" in history? Land that gave to Ukraine 50 years ago and now want back because they're d*cks?
Putin isn't going to use nuclear weapons against the west, because doing so would be a form of suicide. There is no scenario where one of the world's richest men chooses death, just because he got his nose bloodied in Ukraine.
The end game is up to Putin. He started this war for no real reason and he can stop it whenever he wants to. The Ukrainians aren't going to stop fighting to defend their lives. The West can continue to supply them forever, at minimal cost.
Like I said, taking about nuclear is a weak bluff that exposes the real weakness of the Russian hand.

You're really a special kind of stupid. You should really consider registering an account. I'm sure plenty of users would love to follow your work.

Does that mean that Russia is fighting to be servants of China? Kinda like a weird gang initiation to get into Xi’s special club, where they have to prove they’re worthy?

LOL, you are so clever, on the contrary. Go to Ukraine and fight if you think that is the solution, Putin might enjoy your butt.
What Russia is fighting for is a "milion dollar question". I could agree that they are dicks for attacking Ukraine, If only I could know why they did it. My reasoning is that they surely knew what would happen, whole Western alliance piling on them, sanctions, all that (maybe not the level of hysteria) and still, or in spite, they decided that the attack was worth it. If it is all calculated to gain power, yes they are dicks. If it is all a preemptive self defense action, then they are not so much.
IMO, it is regional war, action happening on relatively small territory, with relatively small number of victims. If it was any other country nobody would give f*** about it. Only the fact that Russia did it makes it such a big deal and not in it self because it is Russia, but because Russia is projected as an arch enemy, for decades already being targeted and pushed towards collapse. Maybe they think it is better to collapse fighting (against world dominating, the most aggressive and the most murderous clique in history), just like we are lead to believe that Ukrainians do.

You didn't answer all of my questions - you basically just dismissed the nuclear threat. So what if he doesn't want to stop it...what happens then? Does the death & destruction continue to the point where the world grows immune to it & no one cares anymore how many lives are lost day to day? Or does the U.S. & NATO eventually pull the trigger starting a full-scale military conflict in Eastern Europe?
Suppose the unexpected occurs and Putin actually withdrawals his forces & ends the fighting...what then? Does he swallow his pride & apologize to the Russian citizens, who at the point would want him to step down & remove himself from the public spotlight. And what the war crimes? Is an international tribunal implemented indicting Putin of war crimes? And would Putin just benevolently turn himself in to the international authorities? And what about the billions of dollars of war reparations that Ukraine is entitled to? Does Russia just open up it's checkbook & give Ukraine whatever it wants in reparations?
I think this conflict is far more complicated than people understand. Both the Russia & the U.S. have their finger on the nuclear trigger.
Bro if Putin just leaves Ukraine most of the world would stop caring. It's not complicated.
The bible definitely does NOT mention nuclear war at all.
Just wanted to point that out to a couple people here.
Not a bible scholar or looking for an argument, but the issue with the Bible is that even if one accepts it as divine truth, it's still universally subject to interpretation by imperfect people.
Of course interpretations are subjective and largely referenced to one's circumstances, so in a nuclear age and with a plausible potential for nuclear war, it's not crazy for someone so inclined to read the following as a reference to nuclear annihilation.
Revelation 8:7-13
The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down on the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.
The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned into blood, a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.
The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water— the name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter.
The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night.

Also I highly doubt you have family in Kyiv. No wonder nobody outside of the US likes Americans, you guys are full of it.
Hey paid Russian troll, if you ran 1500m at college level. Tell us who’s back baby.
I make very good money with my company, so I don't have to get paid for posting. Wouldn't even have a first idea how one gets paid for posting actually.
Webb just ran 4:13.
Imagine someone speaking Ukrainian and Russian, following the situation closely since 2013 and NOT being paid by Putin. YOU need to ask yourself why the US is so invested in Ukraine, that they've sent over $3 Billion in military aid.
