And where in your book of fairy tales is this mythical nuclear exchange predicted?
You don't acknowledge the possibility of this happening?
Mythical?
It's possible it happens. As we all know, Russia is led by a low IQ psychopath that doesn't care about his own citizens. It has nothing to do with a book a fairy tales.
Low-level, paid Russian propaganda trolls are absolutely posting here. That’s how pathetic the Russian system is. These people know nothing about running, and their job is to spin favorably for Russia. Hey Russian propaganda troll, who is “back baby?”
The Bible predicts a massive nuclear exchange the significantly reduces the world's population by 2/3. I think we're living in the end of times.
And where in your book of fairy tales is this mythical nuclear exchange predicted?
In the Book of Revelations. And it's not a "fairy tale" to us Christians. I participate in a weekly Bible study & this is looking closer to the End Times than ever before in history.
Ukraine VS Russia, Israel VS Iran, WWIII, nuclear war, Uranium warheads, ICBMs, SLBMs, and mushroom clouds all detailed over 2,500 years ago in the Bible? No...
Who exactly is the "tough talk" script supposed to appeal to? It almost sounds like you are trying to convince yourself that Russia isn't a giant dumpster fire. Putin isn't going to use nuclear weapons against the west. Threatening to do so is a giant tell that Russia is even weaker than they appear.
Why wouldn't Putin use nukes against the West? He's basically fighting a proxy war against the U.S. already. The U.S. is supplying Ukraine will all this military aid including high-tech weaponry. The U.S. is supplying Ukraine with key military intelligence from satellite & drone surveillance.
And what's the end game here? Does Putin withdrawal from Ukraine & go back in disgrace where he'll be the laughingstock of every Russian citizen? And wouldn't he be wanted for war crimes & be considered a fugitive? And wouldn't Ukraine want tens of billions of dollars from Russia for war reparations? Is Russia going to turn over Putin to an international war tribunal and gladly agree to pay billions to Ukraine for destroying their country? Lol. No...more than likely NATO would have to invade Russia and apprehend Putin the hard way, as well as force Russia to pay up.
And if Putin doesn't withdrawl - how much longer can this death & destruction go on before Putin loses his composure & does something stupid with the world's most powerful nuclear arsenal?
Putin isn't going to use nuclear weapons against the west, because doing so would be a form of suicide. There is no scenario where one of the world's richest men chooses death, just because he got his nose bloodied in Ukraine.
The end game is up to Putin. He started this war for no real reason and he can stop it whenever he wants to. The Ukrainians aren't going to stop fighting to defend their lives. The West can continue to supply them forever, at minimal cost.
Like I said, taking about nuclear is a weak bluff that exposes the real weakness of the Russian hand.

In the Book of Revelations Make Believe? Is that also the book where Putin has an IQ above 30 and Russia matters? All Russia can do is issue meaningless threats about "proportional response" while their useless army is decimated, their helicopters get shot down, and their navy becomes the laughingstock of the world. Now Ukraine has stuck an ammo depot in Russia and Russia claims it's an illegal attack. What a load a BS.
You just keep going to Bible study. I prefer to spend my time constructively.

Thank God America is led by a bunch of intelligent, healthy, selfless people who only have out best interests at heart.

the counterview is something like the last days of Hitler - in the battle for Berlin 1945 he sentenced hundreds of thousands of his subjects to death because he sort of felt they deserved death for failing him.
Putin could take a similar view and just sigh and say "well my people should have recognized my genius and made me King of the Slavs.' Their fault for letting us all down. Bye."

You didn't answer all of my questions - you basically just dismissed the nuclear threat. So what if he doesn't want to stop it...what happens then? Does the death & destruction continue to the point where the world grows immune to it & no one cares anymore how many lives are lost day to day? Or does the U.S. & NATO eventually pull the trigger starting a full-scale military conflict in Eastern Europe?
Suppose the unexpected occurs and Putin actually withdrawals his forces & ends the fighting...what then? Does he swallow his pride & apologize to the Russian citizens, who at the point would want him to step down & remove himself from the public spotlight. And what the war crimes? Is an international tribunal implemented indicting Putin of war crimes? And would Putin just benevolently turn himself in to the international authorities? And what about the billions of dollars of war reparations that Ukraine is entitled to? Does Russia just open up it's checkbook & give Ukraine whatever it wants in reparations?
I think this conflict is far more complicated than people understand. Both the Russia & the U.S. have their finger on the nuclear trigger.

Well...sorry to have offended you but this is what us Christians believe & they're a lot us of Bible believing Christians throughout the world. There's still freedom of religion in the U.S. (thankfully) and us Christians chose believe the Bible & worship God.
And the U.S. & NATO better take those threats seriously & back down with the military support for Ukraine. Do you people have any idea of the destructive power of Putin's Satan 2 ICBM? It can hit anywhere in the world & carries at least 10 MIRV warheads packing an 800kt yield for each warhead!
Remember what Einstein once said: WW3 will surely be fought with nuclear weapons with WW4 being fought with sticks & stones.
Defcon 3 if this thing is anything like the rest of the Russian military there’s a 90% chance it blows up in the silo and turns Russia into a radioactive wasteland. Not that that would be a big change from its current sh*thole status. Russia’s most reliable nuclear weapons are the dumb soldiers that spent a few weeks rolling around in the Red Forest.
Well...it didn't blow up in this most recent test just a few days ago:
Vladimir Putin has announced that Russia has developed and is testing a new line of strategic, nuclear-capable weapons that would be able to outmanoeuvre US ...

I'm not offended by your gullibility. It just confirms that you'll believe almost anything... like you believe that Russia matters or is "winning" or is going to start a nuclear war with NATO. Now, using a small (few kton) tactical nuke in Ukraine? Possible, but still unlikely. It's doubtful that NATO would opt for a nuclear response. More likely that you would see NATO troops actually deployed in Ukraine, along with air support and conventional missile strikes of Russian targets in Ukraine, and maybe Russia.

There is no such thing as "choosing" to believe something. If you feel you are choosing to believe the Bible what that really means is that you do not actually believe it but you are going to try really, really hard to pretend that you do.
If Russia send one nuclear weapon, the rest will be detonated within Russia by preemptive NATO strikes, which weapons already obviously lock and loaded on all Russian military sites. You might want to move.
US military assistance to Ukraine is pretty minimal especially compared to what we sell to Israel, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, etc. Putin plays the nuke card just because he understands that there is so much more the US and NATO could do as far as providing weapons that he wants to make sure those efforts are kept at current levels.

Defcon is spinning fantasy scenarios. The West's endgame doesn't require trying Putin for war crimes or invading Russia to apprehend him. They would be satisfied with a withdrawal of Russia from Ukraine and keeping some of the sanctions (including the personal sanctions on Putin and his inner circle) in place. The threat of war crimes would keep Putin confined to Russia or other friendly countries (so much for enjoying those yachts).

Here are some answers to your pointless, fantastical, questions:
Putin can end this whenever he wants to. All he has to do is withdrawal from Ukraine. The deaths and destruction with continue until he does.
The US and NATO are not going to engage Russia in direct war unless he invades a NATO country.
Putin isn't accountable to the Russian population. He doesn't need to do anything to stay in power.
Russia will never pay reparations to Ukraine.
Putin will never face justice for war crimes.
For all these reasons, plus the ones I stated before, Putin is not going to use nuclear weapons against the west. Talk of nuclear war is just to distract from the spectacular failures of this Russian war of choice.
