My hope for humanity is that it was due to A. Your view wanted.
Almost certainly A. I too have spaced through a stop sign (no other cars around, but still) and the immediate response, at least for a good driver, is a "sorry" to the universe.
I myself actually pulled over and stopped after that. Nobody around! Just needed a minute to process. Fifty-plus years as a driver, never an accident or a ticket, and blowing through that stop was so out of character that it shook me.
The vaccine wasn't rolled out to working Americans until after Trump left office. The mandates were not from Trump.
Biden threw thousands of soldiers out of the military for not getting the jab and he cut off the pay of tens of thousands more.
All federal employees were mandated to get the jab.
As always you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.
to be in the military you have to get many many shots. Always have. Sorry if you think that is tyranny. I guess you think we have always had a tyranny. Weird but ok.
as for the vaccine mandate for civilians, the biden admin listened to the courts and withdrew the mandate. That's the exact opposite of a tyranny. Agreeing that another branch of government has authority over you.
How about you do trump now!
The mandate was struck down for private citizens. The military and federal workers are still dealing with the mandate.
Mask and vaccine mandates or you get fired is tyranny.
50 years of selling influence and pay to play is corruption.
Reality is what it is.
I'm pretty sure the mandate got struck down in court, right? Seems like the exact opposite of tyranny.
Interesting. Would you say that because Trump's attempt to overturn the election results failed and he eventually left the white house, it's the opposite of tyranny?
The President swears and oath to preserve, protect, and defend the constitution, not do whatever he wants and let the court play catch me if you can. It is nice that we have a court that actually holds them to account, but it takes months to years at which point the damage is sometimes done, and shouldn't happen in the first place, so I consider it a form of tyranny. Including: Obama implementing DACA without congress, Trump using emergency powers to fund the wall without congress (and probably more stuff I can't remember right now), Biden extending the eviction moratorium (even after the courts told him it was illegal) without congress, Biden doing the vaccine/test mandate without congress, and Biden implementing a $1 trillion student loan payoff without congress.
Your post reminds one of a silver lining of the R's subservience to Trump, namely, the fact that they're hurting their own causes by keeping him as their leader. Most any other R wouldn't have scared millions of Americans into voting against the R presidential nominee and now against many other Rs. And as it should be.
Congratulations, du** fu**s !!
It IS nice when unprincipled badness is punished.
Yeah, there really is no logical reason for any Republican to want Trump to be in office again. He would be a lame duck President from the get go.
Reasons why anyone would want Trump to be President again, in no particular order...oh, and they all show stupidity on the part of the Trumper:
1) To own the liberals. Some have this mentality because they know that we would rather have anyone in office other than Trump...because Trump is a criminal and a dangerous POS.
2) To support the possibility that Trump might succeed in becoming a dictator. The Republican Party is going down the autocrat path because they know they are going to have an increasingly difficult time winning legal elections, so some would like Trump to get in and find a way to stay in.
3) They truly believe Trump is the best President we've ever had and so they'd rather have him for 4 more years rather than someone like DeSantis for potentially 8 more years.
Again, all reasons show stupidity on the part of Trumpers.
1. "To own the libs" is soooo overplayed here. All you do is call conservatives idiots or worse if they disagree with any liberal talking point or view. This is 100% an example of the LR libs "owning conservatives."
2. Biden has been trigger happy with EO's and mandates since day one which prompted SCOTUS intervention- he has been the definition of a tyrant. Plus, his $10,000 student loan "forgiveness" is unconstitutional- even Pelosi has said so. Biden has been the worst POTUS since Jimmy Carter. Biden's performance has been dismal at best. Recession, runaway inflation, soaring interest rates, the resulting disaster of defunding police in our cities, calling all those who oppose him as divisive, the open border, firing military for not taking an experimental drug and his obvious cognitive decline are all examples of FAILURE.
3. We cannot allow another Biden or democrat 4 year clusterf**k running our country into the ground. Biden cannot be defended any longer. He SUCKS as POTUS and you are an idiot to continue to support him. You continue to praise his incompetence and failure. Millions of people are not better off today than they were when Biden took over.
America wants Trump or DeSantis to run the show- I'm happy with either one. In any case, Alzheimer's Adolf will not get a second term.
Joe Biden is the embodiment of the what the founders wanted to avoid. Tyranny and corruption.
No senator with 50 years in office and ZERO accomplishments other than getting filthy rich would impress the founding fathers.
The founders would be just as disgusted by the swamp as all decent people are.
I don’t know why any of you care what the founders thought. They are dead. We are here. That means we, not them, make decisions about America today. “The founding fathers would have hated [something]” is an annoying argument on both sides I think. I’m sure some of those assholes would love Trump and some of them would hate him. You know, just like us.
It's also possible that a significant majority of them were far better "civically" than the current R average. And hell, we know how far that party has fallen since the quite recent Nixon ultimatum (about far lesser transgressions).
Regardless, they really are the founders. They set up the system that has, with all of its flaws, peacefully self-replicated for ~250 years. I think it makes a lot of sense to give them a lot of credit for that (you know, authentic, actual respect, unlike the flags-and-pickup-trucks utterly fake "patriots" we have running around).
And now, for the first time in that reasonably long period, that system is under serious threat. And in the name of a man SO, SO supremely unworthy of it. Hence, not unreasonable to ponder how disappointed they'd be.
Just regular ole' humans-thinking-about-things, if you ask me. Not necessarily an indication that we're somehow slavishly beholden to just their thoughts on things.
“non equals” the board conservative who hates all things conservative really despises Desantis.
Geez, the gross stupidity. I hate Trump, and the fact that a sizeable minority of this country is OK with him and the current R party.
At best, you don't know my views on things, but have heard me self-identify. At worst, you've seen me implicitly or explicitly rattle off the many liberal positions I don't hold, and still says stupid things like I "hate all things conservative."
It's really interesting (and amazing and depressing) to see someone so readily advertise (as so many of you do) a horrendous inability to think the least bit flexibly.
Do you ACTUALLY not understand that humans (smarter than you) could think that honesty or democracy or common decency or rule of law are MORE important than any collection current policy issues (taxes, immigration, school curriculum, gun laws, abortion, foreign policy, etc.)? That's just fu**** embarrassing, and you should keep your embarrassing thoughts to yourself.
Yes, he was identified as a troll quite a while back, yet people continue to feed him (and c9, and DG, and SV, and...). Hard to understand.
Just use the "Block" function, if you find it too tempting to respond to his trollage. Starve a troll today.
Why do you give this advice so often but don't follow it yourself?
I think that we all know that it can be (quite annoyingly!) hard to be consistent (and non-hypocritical) about this. Moods and self-restraint ebb and flow !!

As Agip said, military members are "still dealing with" non-voluntary shot/immunization requirements that have been imposed on them for literally centuries. And did DoD probably frequently get it wrong, and put sh** in service members (like me) that they shouldn't have? Yep. Through a combination of ignorance, arrogance, simple lack of concern, and poor weighing of cost/benefits. SOMEHOW, "Tyranny!" never crossed my mind.
BUT, because Trump and tens of millions of moran FOLLOWERS like you guys, it suddenly only became "TYRANNY!!!" for COVID.

You're a "conservative" who voted for the most extreme leftist Democrat that's been nominated in your lifetime.
Even more pathetic you voted for Joe F'ing Biden because you value "honesty".

Stu*** mot**** fu****s.
The only reason 2 year old's aren't being forced to get vaccinated is because SCOTUS overruled Biden.
Only the lowest form of scum is okay with the government forcing people to inject experimental drugs into their children. You know, people like YOU.

More tyranny from your diaper wearing hero. Weaponizing social media to attack his political opponents like a 3rd world dictator.

In the interests of national security, it was the FBI’s duty to investigate credible evidence suggesting the future president may have been compromised.
