The Federal Reserve released a study that showed ~1/3 of the current inflation is due monetary policy…government stimulus money. That includes the unnecessary $2T that Joetato had to bribe voters with.
no economics study should be taken as absolute fact. Economics is not an exact science.
Fact is, virtually every peer nation has been suffering the same sorts of inflation the US is suffering. Which suggests the problem is systemic and global, not because of any particular spending bill Biden signed.
You will make a great communist when the Chinese take over. They won’t have to raise a weapon or fire a bullet before you’re waiving a little red book.
They are working 3 jobs to make ends meet and dealing with Joe Biden's 9.1% inflation and lo and behold - Joe Biden takes his magic wand and erases the student debt of 47 milllion Americans who signed up for student debt and now is transferring to the poor who knew they could never afford college. Unfortuantely they are paying for those college graduate deadbeats who don't pay their bills. Just a shame.
Even the left-leaning Washington Post editorial board came out against this thing for more or less that reason. And agip is bragging about it... At least we never have to take him seriously when he talks about Joe trying to "reduce the deficit" again.

why do right wing fans of authoritarians always think democracies are weak? You think this, Hitler thought this, Stalin though this...well you fit into the long traditions of fans of authoritarians underestimating the West. Congrats!

Not sure Agip is bragging about it. It seems like he is as clueless as Karine Jean-whatevver her name is. He thinks Joe Biden can "cancel" the debt. Agip is not a big thinker. He doesn't realize that you can't cancel debt. You can only transfer it from one lucky person to one schmuck. Agip never went to college apparently.

I don't have a strong view on college debt cancellation. The only things I feel confident about it are that:
a) the majority of the american public supports cancelling at least some of the debt - this is a popular policy.
b) This plan, if enacted, would help not-rich people a lot more than the Rs would like you to believe. It's not just the forgiveness....it's the limits on debt payments as a % of income too. it's a boost to the middle class.
But I'm ambivalent on this...Not something I have much confidence talking or thinking about. I do tend to think policies that help middle income people get out of economic holes are generally good ones. And this is *probably* one of those.

Do you not understand that you are NOT cancelling debt. You are taking the debt incurred by college students who signed up for student loans and transferring that debt to either those who paid back their debt or never signed up for college debt in the first place.

I think you can rationalize anything you set your mind to. No matter how absurd

Agip - You are NOT cancelling debt. Enough
sally have fun with your semantic argument. Use that for another few months. Please. I think it will make you feel happy and I want you to be happy. Stick to this one. Use it well.
To those who still believe Republicans when they calls it the Russia Hoax:
It resulted in the convictions of Trump’s national security advisor, campaign manager, deputy campaign manager, foreign policy advisor, political fixer, personal attorney, and indictments of more than a dozen Russian hackers.

It's not just "Rs" making that claim, plenty of Democrats are making that argument too.
Even the people helped by it are going to be disappointed when it doesn't happen because Biden didn't have the legal authority to do it. That wasn't nice of him.

Two for two and they’re both really messed up. He’s a worthless drug addict who slept with his late brother’s wife. She’s a drug and sex addict. Considering all the advantages they had for both of them to be messed up so badly is bad parenting.
Or genetics. JRB (like Trump and Pelosi) doesn't drink, because of alcoholism in the family. There can be a genetic predisposition toward addiction. Looks like his kids inherited it.

I'm proud to say that I have waived that little red book my whole life.
