He realised this early on in his challenge and, instead of acknowledging it was beyond his abilities, he began to create false entries on Strava.
This is pure speculation. I know Ben very well. I probably ran at least 5 or 6 marathons with Ben throughout his challenge and also ran many many miles within him whist he was doing it.
He is one of the most honest, humble people that I know. I've seen him hobble for 26.2 with injury and just get on with it.
There are a number of us who ran with Ben and know that he is not a cheating scammer.
HONEST! Are you mad! He's basically stolen free gear from sponsors on the back of a LIE and CONTINUES this lie even now.
If you start something like this then can't continue, you don't just LIE and LIE and scam free kit.
You've just admitted he "began to create false entries on Strava" then say you "know that he is not a cheating scammer.".
Eh??? If you create false data to scam people then that makes you a CHEATING SCAMMER, you dum dum
HUMBLE! He never stops boasting about marathons he HAS NOT DONE!
