What we as a society need to do is continue to enforce the rule of law, especially on those in power. This can include a special council to investigate deeper into Hunter Biden as the republicans asked, but now don't seem to want. It can also include investigation, grand jury, and indictments, and trial for a former president when the evidence supports it.
Unfortunately, the trump bubble is probably something like 25-30% of the country. Most other republicans tolerate it because they know there will be no election wins without that extremist part of the party. Trump supporters will not listen to the facts, the indictments, or even the words of trump allies or trump himself that support the indictments. They will, however, listen to Fox news and tucker carlson as their gospel preacher even though both have admitted to lying constantly by parroting trump. Tucker even stated he passionately hates trump, yet they will tune in for his trump interview tonight and believe every word.
You can see this denial of facts in the posts trump by supporters here. When they are cornered with a fact they don't like, they change topic and start name calling. But what other tactic is available for them when the facts are devastating to their opinion?
