Cool story. Only a pro-Putin troll would believe the USA incited this war by forcing Russia to annex Crimea.
Now, answer the question: what has your country done to stop Russian aggression in Ukraine since 2014, other than becoming dependent on Russian gas?
Only a pro-Biden moran would see it any other way. Once again, read it slowly: if your country would have not incited this war, there would be no war in Ukraine to begin with.
All i want is for the world to stop the US aggression. You know, for you to take all your soldiers back home and spent your budget on education, that y'all so desperately need instead of military.
You total clown, go back to your drab depressing country (which the rest of the civilized world wishes would just disappear)
I posted the best new thread of the week:"Who had a worse week, Putin or Biden?" and of course a spineless mod ripped it down ASAP. Bidenites are unable to cope with actual "pravda"

I’m sorry to hear that Rex. You seem like a sincere person, and it upsets me when people like you have your goals all squelched.
What was the answer, by the way? Putin had his Moskva boat sunk. I don’t follow Biden much, so I don’t know what happened to him. His polls are low, I heard that from my sources.

Actually it was somewhat tongue-in-cheek, but let's just say that the list for both was about eight items of varying import but legitimate concern. Both are on the ropes in terms of surviving the year with any power or effectiveness. The leadership void world wide is a gaping chasm of Biblical proportions. A cross-dressing comic (who is a really good dancer) and a stinking rich Aspberger's genius seem to be our only legitimate hopes against a world submitting to tyranny at every turn.
Puck Futin, Buck Fiden, Tuck Frump. Kick out these old freaks and put the New Centrist Coalition in charge with some positive young energy.
Major General Vladimir Frolov, deputy commander of the 8th Army, may be the eighth Russian general to have been killed since Russia launched its invasion of Ukraine.

Very dark vision Rex. I think as you grow older, you'll see your current world view is an impossibility. Don't let the ingrown toenails of life like Carmine jade your thoughts. Its both less and more complex than they give it all credit for. Just figure out your deep principles and apply them evenly.
I wonder how many of you have actually been to Ukraine?
Average pension $75 / month with a gallon of milk costing $3.5. Aside of beautiful historical buildings, the rest of the country looking like worst ghettos and projects in Chicago. Prior to 2014 Ukrainian military equipment was consisting entirely from an old Soviet stock.
So knowing that, where do these ambitions of NATO and EU were coming from? Bunch of articles show that NATO was in the talks since 2008 and Ex-President Yanukovich refused an EU association deal in 2013 (which is why he was overthrown?).
It's becoming obvious that Ukraine was falsely promised impossible memberships by Western powers, without having even remote chance to fulfill the requirements. Only to turn Ukraine away from Russia, knowing well that Russia would not tolerate that.
US main objective is to prevent an alliance between Russia and Germany and it sponsored a regime change in Ukraine in 2014 to achieve this, knowing well that Russia would have to react with military measures.
Maybe someone can help me out and point to the name of that well known American strategist, that kept pushing the idea of Germany and Russia fighting each other for the US to prosper?

I am probably older than you think. I grew up with Walter Cronkite serving up the body count in Vietnam as we would sit down for dinner. JFK, MLK, Gulf of Tonkin, Woodstock....
My view is tinged with dark humor, which as someone who is reasonably-to-well-versed in Eurasian history, particularly in the 1930s and '40s, I think dark humor is appropriate to the situation. We are on the brink of complete failure on many fronts, with world leaders who are failing physically, morally and mentally. I refuse to sugar-coat that. We have to find a way to rise to the occasion. One bright spot I see out of this is the chance that NATO will get it's act together and stop mothballing nuclear and shutting down the energy sector with the resultant dependence on the Putins, Saudis and Xis. The Cold War is back and it sucks, but it is better than WWIII.

So, if Ukraine wasn't close to NATO membership, then Putin only invaded because he's an a-hole financed by weak Europeans like yourself. What you're saying is that this invasion is your fault? Congrats. At least own up to being responsible.
And.. then we're off to conspiracy theory looney town about Russo-German alliances and how the US forced regime change in Ukraine.
p.s. I've been to Ukraine. It is full of beautiful historical buildings, but I didn't see anywhere that looked like the worst ghettos and projects in Chicago. Now, when I was in the UK - saw some totally sketchy areas that made me wish I had a gun because I wasn't sure I was going make it to the end of the block. Same in Portugal, and France, and definitely in Italy. But, not in Ukraine. Have you been to Ukraine? Or are you just speculating based on your "fancy European education" without actually having experienced anything?

Yes, Ukraine itself could not and still can't fulfill requirements to become a NATO member.
These are: • New members must uphold democracy, including tolerating diversity • New members must be making progress toward amarket economy • Their military forces must be under firm civilian control • They must be good neighbors and respect sovereignty outside their borders • They must be working toward compatibility with NATO forces
HOWEVER, it would be very useful for the US to have their soldiers in Ukraine and also the US NAVY in Sevastopol Naval Base, therefore a serious effort was made to prop Ukraine up to make joining possible (2008 Bucharest Summit).
Considering that a US sponsored regime change took place in 2014, and a pro-Western government came to power with a serious ambition of NATO, Russia had to take action.
USA knew exactly what they were doing and what the outcome of this would be, since they have 200 years of regime change experience.

If you really have been to Ukraine, I wonder how you could miss rund down "Khrushchyovkas", which make up 90% of Ukrainian cities and towns. I've been to Kiev and also Donetzk multiple times since my father was born there. Let me tell you, Ukraine is most certainly not Europe. My grandmother gets a 67$ pension each month, so listening to politicians talk about EU is simply bizarre.
Trully a brilliant move by the US. Either drag Ukraine to NATO and station US military there, or have Russia start a war and turn Europe away from cheap gas.
