That's pretty funny. Giving someone advice on the best way to to tell you that you are wrong.
Why not just take Afghan War off your list? It killed the credibility of the list. Were you really against the Afghan War or, like a quite a few flip-flopping Trumpers, do you just like to remember you felt that way now? If I recall correctly, and I always do, at the time it was pretty much Richard Gere alone who was against going after Al Qaeda and the Taliban after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
Actually, it's not. Agip's suggestion was right on target. Hardloper is the only Trumpette on here who is not an imbecile. He is often right about many things and this "discussion" would indeed be a lot more interesting if he went along with agip's suggestion.
Up to Hardloper, of course, regarding what he wants to do. But there is no doubt that agip's suggestion was both fundamentally positive and simply correct.
Thanks Real Obvi though I'm pretty sure I'm not a "Trumpette" even though I agree with them on some things.
Why does President Biden keep calling Brittney Griner WRONGFULLY DETAINED? The Dogs sniffed it and it was shown to her, this is on Tape, And from her own mouth she admitted it.
The only thing I can Think is after Biden leaves office be it January 20th 2025 or 2029, he will write a book (As all Presidents do) and explain in full detail why he considers it Wrongfully Detained. It is very confusing, I wish he gave Long Interviews and explained why he does things. He is the Least transparent President of my Lifetime, He is extremely complicated and hard to figure out.

"wrongfully detained" is a technical term. The State Department, not Biden, declared it. You can read about it here if you want.
The State Department went public with its push to negotiate Griner’s release from custody in Russia, where she has been held on drug charges since February.

there are two issues with the afghan war. Three, really.
1/ starting it
2/ prosecuting it for decades
3/ ending it
War is incredibly messy, but we invaded in 2001 and were still fighting in 2021.
I'm prepared to say that the 7 years of Bush2 running it with no end and the 4 years of Trump running it with no end is a Republican scandal.
Sure, include Obama in that as scandalously not ending the thing. Everyone knew Afghanistan would never have the kind of government the US wanted it to have. But we just kept going for nearly a generation.
Scandal.
And Biden seems to have flubbed the exit in some ways. But ending wars without a clean victory or loss is always going to be a mess.
I think that "scandal" is a completely inappropriate word to use to describe staying in Afghanistan. Reasonable arguments can be made on each side. As I presume you know, lots of thoughtful, intelligent, highly-experienced military and diplomatic types made an argument for us staying. It wasn't a "scandalous" position to take.
Now, if casualties later in the conflict had stayed at some level significantly higher than they were, I could see such a word creeping into the conversation. But I don't think that they hit that (admittedly subjective) bar.
And I don't think that many involved in Afghanistan thought that they'd soon (or ever) have a government that mostly pleased us. But as naive as it might have been, hope sprung eternal that they could eventually function well enough to keep the Taliban at bay with minimal outside effort. That hope may have been naive - or even outright stupid and/or semi-delusional - but I don't think that "scandalous" fits.
And even if "scandalous" fits, it doesn't really belong on list distinguishing R from D, given that, as you acknowledge, Obama owned it for a full 8 years (indeed, longer than anyone else).

OK, I will stop referring to you as a Trumpette.
I do consider you to be one of the best posters on here, regardless of your political affiliation. Sometimes I wish you would say a bit more - you're obviously well informed and are willing to call BS when appropriate.
A law passed by Congress in 2020 established 11 criteria for such a designation, any one of which can be a sufficient basis to secure the detainee’s release, including “credible information indicating innocence of the detained individual,” “credible reports that the detention is a pretext for an illegitimate purpose,” or a conclusion that U.S. “diplomatic engagement is likely necessary.”

Walker re-takes lead; Kemp pulls further ahead, as Republicans poised to sweep Georgia down the ballot. Walker (R) 45.2% Warnock (D) 43.6%.
Kemp (R) 51.4% Abrams (D) 43.5%. Per left-wing Phillips Academy Polling.
Stacey Abams couldn't win in a Democrat year, and has zero chance in a Republican year. Side tabs show Warnock bleeding African-Americans - down to 64%, while Suburbia is leaning Walker by 5.1%. If AAs are not behind Warnock by 80%+ and he is trailing in the suburbs, he has little chance. Down the ballot, Rs are leading in most districts.
Nothing is going to stop the Red Earthquake. Fats will be crying in his Chevy Bolt.
The Justice Department said in a court filing on Monday that it opposes the release of the affidavit that was used to justify the search of former President Trump's home.
I know that Walker used to work for Trump when 45 owned a football team. What qualifications does Warnock have? No wonder Walker is gonna wipe the floor with him in November. Abrams may have been able to beat Walker, but certainly not Kemp.
Trump CFO will likely plead guilty to a felony. because working for trump means you must commit serious crimes to cheat and steal. Goes with the territory. Lord knows what other many serious crimes this guy committed for Trump over the years to steal our tax money. I'd feel bad for thisi 75 year old guy going to jail but he's a big boy and knew exactly what he was doing.
NYT:
A senior executive at Donald J. Trump’s family business who was charged with participating in a yearslong tax scheme is nearing a deal with Manhattan prosecutors but will not cooperate with a broader investigation into Mr. Trump, according to three people with knowledge of the matter.
If it becomes final, a plea deal for the executive, Allen H. Weisselberg, would bring prosecutors no closer to indicting the former president but would nonetheless brand one of his most trusted lieutenants a felon.
Back here to check. Dems still arguing and thinking they will change hearts and or minds? Can’t happen. Conservatives stopped listening forever. Tired of the constant lies.
