Not a bad article, but really nothing new in there that hasn't been covered in a lot more detail here. I guess I was expecting more with all the hype though.

bump!
Troll post, I doubt if there will ever be an article.
Sorry to cast doubt into your fantasy world but the first rule of cunning plans is "Don't tell the interwebs"
Fell ol' buddy-
The rule does not apply because I am a cunning linguist. You can't possibly be serious. LR is 90% pathetic rubbish- a total classy gal like her would never waste her time reading rants from a bunch of lifeless loser wannabes.
But of course, if you were first in, I'm sure you'd keep it completely silent.
Speaking of loser wannabes...

After watching the Lions embarrass themselves with their childlike behavior last night, I think Kip may be on the low end of the Michigan tard scale.

Upon seeing this thread up top on the first page of the board again, and reading the last few posts, i've realized that i can safely say i don't care about Kip or any of this anymore. Farewell all.

nice try Kip
Re the links, I thought something was up the other day when I Googled for SOKLR. Is this known as Google-Bombing?
135 pages of KL is a lot. What about ripping on that guy who is getting paid to qualify everybody and their brother for Boston.
Lullaby for L or Skip to my loot my darling
Now a country boy called Kippy
And a city boy named Dan
Had to prove who could run the fastest
of all in masters land
Now Dan had all the money
And he also had the looks
But the Kipster must've had somethin', boys
That can't be found in coaching books
CHORUS:
Well, "Short cut across, Kippy, short cut across!"
That was old Kippy's plan
Short cut across, Kippy, Short cut across
The V50 rocket man
Verse 2:
Now Dan had been in trainin'
A week before the race
He made up his mind ol' Kippy
Would end in 2nd place
And Dan, with his long legs a-flyin'
Left Kippy far behind
And Kippy heard him holler out
"100 bucks, you'll soon be mine!"
(chorus)
Verse 3:
But Kippy wasn't worried
There was a smile upon his face
He knew that he was gonna win
'Cause he had fixed the race
And just like that old story
About the turtle and the hare
When Dan crossed over the finish line
He found Kippy waitin' there
(chorus)
(repeat and fade):
Well, "Short cut across, Kippy, short cut across!"
That was old Kippy's plan
Short cut across, Kippy, Short cut across
the fastest masters man
Well, "Short cut across, Kippy, short cut across!"
That was old Kippy's plan
Short cut across, Kippy, Short cut across
leaving poor old desperate Dan
that track was a hit for eddy lee cochran with a running time of 3:59
No, he's right. I used to look on this thread daily. Then weekly. Now monthly. Interesting stuff has long gone, it's getting ever more clear that this story is not going to go any further than this thread, and eventually it will be buried so far back no one will notice/care. Too bad. Was an interesting story, would have been a great running times piece. And just because I think this, doesn't mean I'm Kip.

not true. An article is coming....cannot control what the writer does, but based on what I know, I believe it will be out by the end of Boston 2012 (at the very latest).
A lot of misinformation lately on this thread. The article has not come out yet. It likely won't come out unless the writer can get Litton to contribute. Currently, the writer does not have any interest from any magazines (print or online). The oft-mentioned >1 million subscriber magazine will not run the story unless Litton comments. And the longer it sits, the staler the issues becomes, and the less likely any publication will want the story. Wouldn't be much general interest in a runner who cheated in races, but doesn't run anymore and last cheated years ago.
Finally something that at least sounds like the truth. And if the article will only be printed if Kip comments, why in the world would kip ever comment. This may be the end of the thread. It was fun while it lasted.

No article without a comment from Kip sounds like the death knell for this one unless Kip runs again.
