I don't understand why people believe this guy. I suspect he's going to try and make money out of this. Watch out for the book coming out....

From the article on Ben:
"It still seems inplausable, but he’d done it.
Is that how the Brilliant Brits spell the word 'implausible'?
This Brit spelling is from a Brit (with brain damage) who believes Brit Ben Rogers.
Hey Brits.
Please stop it.

Because they are complete idiots who can't use Google to see that Ben Rogers is a massive fraud. Or, they believe the "it's for charity" excuse is valid and don't have a single brain cell in their thick skulls.

ROFL!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!
This Ben Rogers guy is a full fledged scammer with a criminal record in property fraud and stealing millions of dollars of people's money!!!!!
Jesus Christ! Where do all these British scammers come from? It's like they are all attracted to marathons. This Ben Rogers guy makes Dave Reading look like an amateur.

He was another high-profile figure in the exciting world of property education. When I interviewed him in 2013, Rogers was selling ‘insider secrets’ to ‘buying houses for £1’ and described himself as ‘one of the UK’s niche experts in this way of controlling property for profit’.
It didn’t wash with me and last year my suspicions were proved correct when Rogers went bankrupt for £1.9 million. Some of the debt was owed to people who attended his courses and, rather than learning lucrative insider secrets, were persuaded to lend money to Rogers on the promise of big returns. Inevitably the returns failed to materialise and some people never saw their money, or Rogers, again.
Hey Brit Ultrarunners.
Please ask Ben Rogers some questions:
1) Why did millions of dollars of other people's money go to Ben Rogers and then vanish?
2) Where did the money go?
Can you believe this woman? She's running 40 marathons in 40 days and wants us to be impressed and donate to her charity? She's complaining about how much pain she's in and the damage she's done. Just pathetic. Our hero Ben Rogers has shown us all that an overweight unathletic guy can easily run 365 marathons in 365 days. His feet aren't damaged. Running marathons is clearly very easy and only doing 40 is far from impressive. I can tell you I won't be donating to her now that Ben has shown us all how ridiculously easy it is to do what she's doing. A measly 40 marathons. Pathetic. She should be publicly shamed for not even really trying hard. Her charity deserves better, someone like Ben.
Ms Guli tells the BBC, "I don't run because I enjoy running, I run because I want to raise awareness about water issues."
Personally, I don't run because I enjoy running, I run because I want to raise awareness about sausage. It is so yummy.
The red flag is when he states he exists on 4 hours sleep a night. Anyone who has run 100 mpw knows that above all you need quality sleep. No this guy is not superman, just another Rob Young narcisstic wannabe
I'm going to run 3 or 4 days a week for the next year. I'll probably average about 30 miles per week and will not run if I'm injured or tired.
I'm doing it to raise awareness of people who make exaggerated claims about their own prowess.
Does anyone want to sponsor me?
Ben Rogers is a poster on the Ultra Running Community Facebook page, unsurprisingly. Fits the image of that group. Think any of those dumb hobby joggers over there have read this thread?

I rotate between Hokas and Mizunos, and seem to have no issues.
Personally prefer the Hokas on rocky/stony trails as they soak up the pressure points that the thinner soled Mizen's put on parts of my feet when hitting the stones...
Where did you get the money to buy Mizunos, Ben? Because you are jobless and bankrupt. But you do have those millions of dollars you scammed from people and you are still scamming to this very day. Hoka was dumb enough to sponsor a scammer like you so shouldn't you at least give back some of those millions of dollars you stole?

He made a post on April 23 at his moronic "last of the 365 marathons" shindig, saying he had a CHARITY BUCKET.
ALARM BELLS. I wonder where that money went???

Yes, someone on his page said he should write a book.
Amazing how these people believe this shit without seeing ANY proof.
His sense of entitlement re London marathon is amazing. He actually believes he should have been given a place as he "ran a marathon a year" -
365MarathonMan added a post from 10 April to their Timeline — feeling annoyed.

** Sad News Alert **
I have just found out that after almost a year of running marathons, and over a year being led to believe that London Marathon would be providing me with a spot in this years marathon, they have said at the 11th hour that I am not going to be running....
Oh well. Back to the drawing board... Watch this space for what I will be doing on say 365 instead for the last day of the "365MarathonMan challenge"...
He realised this early on in his challenge and, instead of acknowledging it was beyond his abilities, he began to create false entries on Strava.
This is pure speculation. I know Ben very well. I probably ran at least 5 or 6 marathons with Ben throughout his challenge and also ran many many miles within him whist he was doing it.
He is one of the most honest, humble people that I know. I've seen him hobble for 26.2 with injury and just get on with it.
There are a number of us who ran with Ben and know that he is not a cheating scammer.
So how do you explain the millions of dollars Ben stole with property fraud? And which he is still actively doing right now? There are many victims who want their money back from fraudster Ben Rogers.
What he does in his business life is up to him, I am talking about his running credentials.
I have better things to do with my time than dig up shite about someone and post it all over an insignificant trolling site. However, I do have time to defend someone that I consider a friend.
Before you have a pop at my cheating British background. I am Canadian!
I am ashamed of the lot of you. Find something worthy to do... this is not worthy.

So why is there no evidence to back up the miles that have been manually entered into Strava? Until he provides evidence it didn't happen.

If Ben is a "friend" of yours, I would hate to see your enemies.
And this is worthy of our time. Ben is a cheat and a financial fraud. Watch your wallet.
I don't have enemies, I am Canadian, we are all too polite and nice ;)
But if I did they would be bears and raccoons mate. Usual Canadian fodder XX
