This morning was a little earlier then I normally get up in the morning 3:33 am I'm out of the door on the copper street make left one block west then make right. I was on Trammway heading north breathing slidly soft and hard and my legs were not too shiffy as could a 75 yr old-lady could challenge me as of two days ago. This time around bring a younger person to challenge me.I was in good spirit today and I ran 155 minutes.
No coughing like a quack duck.My breathing and my steps were in good rhythem, the sky was blue and one star far up north. My arms were matching with its frequences as one is listening to the music. This is how it came about taking my mind back to my history of running.which I almost lost it,when a bad cold harden my chest.I'm now free now and my work of running is back to me once again.
I thought I was aloner I have many friends across USA behind my comeback in the two weeks I have been supported and my light is up.It is not hard when one has a fomula to do this and the cheering support across the internet.I have been bless with these many people that gives courage to some people like me who have talent and shouldn't be coward to practices sport.
The detail of today running was combination of long run and the hill repeats that made to 155 minutes by the time I reach saunas swimming pool steam room and whirlpool Oh!I feel like the world has changed in the last 15 day of running. I feel like some one, who is coming out of rehabilation center and he is entering to his community for the first time with the new skills of survivals.
Please edit to make sense to you

Superb! I want to run now! :)
Sounds like hills has always been important to you, Henry. In some photos, your knee lift is exceptional!
wat was the prize for the last contest with henry?
Yes the knee lift is amazing.
Thanks for your inspiration, Henry, you are inspiring me to get up earlier, and running more by my feelings.
It's all good.

I told guys to take time for these questions I gave you this morning.Give me a month to think about and you think about too.

Henry, the contest where they had to guess the runner that is now your massage therapist. Was a prize awarded for that? Or just the honor of winning it?

What side of the continent are you at?You seem you are one hour behind me.Sometimse I think you two hours a head of me.This is based on your emails time you send.I can't tell what are you doing? With me I want to stimuli runners globally.Do you want to rally with me? remember you have to be in good shape.A beer belly couldn't make it.You know that.

You are correct. I'm one hour behind AND 2 hours ahead. I fly around the country in a black helicopter. If you feel your house SHAKING AND SHAKING, just look up somewhere between the property line and the magnolia tree. (it's a joke Henry!)

Now....That's entertainment!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_Ebzlx6toA&search=david%20thompson%20charlotteQuestion for Mr Rono,
We know about your shortened career due to many personal factors.
However if you were able to keep going and keep training after you set the World Records, how much faster do you think you could have run for 3k/5k/10k??
Do you ever think back and wonder about this?
Thanks and good luck with the training.

Henry, just to clarify, are you running 155 minutes (which is 2 hours and 35 minutes) or 1:55 (1 hour and 55 minutes)?
To Quack Duck
2 hours 35 minutes
1 hour=60 minutes
1 hour=60 minutes
+35 minutes =155 minutes
This is a new plans for the masters division ways of running. Unlike 28 years ago, when feeling didn't matter in running to me.
I mention earlier that I'm running in minutes not in miles.
In the same token goes along with feelings.
I began running from zero minute to 155 minutes today.I hope I did not made it more complicated for you.Is it clear now?

Hello Henry, clearly you have most of Letsrun on our toes and all ears to learn of your progress and training. I have happy memories of running on Tramway and up to the foothills but never at the early hours you keep, that takes some discipline WOW! Today I attended the Open House for Massage Therapy School with my husband John, we are eager to learn to be good Therapists and try to put something back into this sport we have been a part of most of our lives....I am still making very slow progress with trying to come back from some set backs but when I read your posts it reminds me to have patience and keep the faith. So along with all the others I do want to say Thank you so much and also for keeping a sense of humor about things. Sometimes one of the hardest things to do is just have a laugh about life and not take it so seriously. I hope that we can welcome you to New York and the Harsthorne Masters Mile events next Jan, meanwhile we all have time to make a solid come back between now and then. Happy Fathers day to all the Dads on this board and happy healthy running to each of us!

what kind of pace do you run? Is it steady or fartlek? Hills? I try to run one 2 hour run/day but lately i've been trying to do 2 90 min. runs at a faster speed and with some hills. I found that I cant do that everyday right now but thats my long term goal by the end of the summer; to be running two 90 min runs/day, 7 days a week with some speed and hills mixed in, as I can handle them.
Thanks Henry. Just checking. So many of the things you write get lost in translation, I thought this might be one of them.
How is your quack duck cough today?
Henry, is there much in this article with which you would amend or with which you disagree?
While Henry ponders that, if he cares to, it was definitely wrong with regard to being "forgotten", and it left out his current, focussed, happy outlook.
We all have ups and downs in our lives. Most of us are lucky that our lives are not tracked by Wikepedia and other internet sources!

Today was my best training as you can see my writing is get better too. Also the weather is compromising with my health.I could breath much better which it makes my legs move with the rhythem of my breathing.
I think drinking some tea all-night makes me get ready for this morning.
Henry
That's what I thought. I think it is difficult to understand the influence he had on runners (in my case, a high school kid) of a certain era.
