Bad coaching is the cause of injury!
Jepchirchir looks like she is getting dropped. Ethiopians trying to make a break here

Why do I think Hassan is going to fly on the downhill?
according to Tim Rowberry's IG story, Hassan isn't wearing a watch so has no idea what pace she's running
2:24 mid pace now at 33 k so speeding up.
Ethiopian runners favour Adidas shoes in general.
I would love to see, Hassan vs Obiri, battle to the finish line
Jepchirchir dropping
Suzuki's style is actually very atypical for a Japanese runner having a very good stride and knee lift compared with most of her compatriots who are pitter patter with very little knee lift.
Obiri vs Hassan would be amazing!! Seeing the closing stages on these flats, I'm wondering who will make that move
Nothing in Sweden men/women

Torn labrum, calling it now.
Hassan to win? Possible....
30km splits
Lokedi hanging in there too, she did win NYC just 2 years ago. Could she pull off an upset?
Hassan. <3
Jepchirchir is a time trial runner not suited to this course. Ready to eat crow for this opinion, though
I see that japanese woman Suzuki looks good who knows
317 for 34th km. They ran roughly 3:04 on the downhill 31st km.
We know who King Ches is rooting for.
