why do distance always go tactical? I don’t get it. It gives every one a shot to win it. It makes no sense. Why would you rather make it a 12 guy race then to go all out and make it a 3 person race??? I’ll never understand 😬
Hate the strategy from Nico. I know his kick has improved but to completely rely on it makes no sense. Should have started squeezing with 1200-1600 to go. Great close from Wolfe though. He is legit! Also good to see Blanks is rounding into form.
lol did I hear a 1:52 for the final 800m? Wasn't the smartest race by Nico but a good one and deserved by Wolfe. Hate when its overly tactical, but we had all of the hosses there streakin with 1000m left.
Wolfe seemed to stalk Nico most of race. Covered moves and kept him in contact. Hasn't Wolfe run like a 3:53-54 mile? Plenty of closing speed to go from 800m out.

Because the Olympic trials are in a few weeks and it’s more important to most of the athletes in this race.

Here comes all the moronic takes: "He is not a championship racer" "only relies on paced races", yeah you can say that for just about anybody. The race was under 14 minutes holy crap.
