If Republicans just run on "Inflation is Joe Biden's fault", then Dems will make gains in the senate. No matter what it will be very tough to hold on to the house.
You fail to realize that Biden has already lost the independents. Every voter that wants Biden gone are heeding Obama's warning: "Don't underestimate Joe's ability to f**k things up."
You fail to realize that four months is an eternity in politics. That's why I keep criticizing your fascination will polls at this point in the race. Polls in July don't tell you much.
If gas prices go down another 50 cents a gallon, it will make Biden look really good.
There is a reason pollsters have stuck with the "right direction/wrong direction" question for all these years. It's very powerful. If people think things are going in the right direction they tend to stick with what seems to be working.

Keep dreaming. At this point, there is nothing that will make Biden look good. His cognitive decline is only getting worse. His "wrong direction" is at a record high and we are in a recession.
Wow, that was a GREAT post. I mean that sincerely.
It is not that I agree with all that you said, but that your post seems so sincere.
A few thoughts related to what you laid out:
1) People who feel like they are somehow "losers", victims, unappreciated, or have been left behind are always the ones who become attracted to charlatans/autocrats. Trump is a charlatan/autocrat wannabe. I hope that some day you will see this.
2) If Trump comes back (as POTUS), you will probably be very happy for a while. And you may greatly enjoy sticking it to "the libs." But . . .
3) In that scenario, you would not be happy in the long run. People like Trump are 100% in it for themselves and will do anything to cling to power and enrich themselves. If people are concerned about the "Deep State" today, just wait until an autocrat takes full power (which is clearly what Trump and now the GOP desire).
The greatest strength of democracies is not that we elect great people as leaders (generally we don't). It is instead, that we get to kick them out. As such no POTUS, or anyone else, can impose their will upon the nation (and ultimately, you). And if we get to that state of autocracy (we are headed there with Trump), nobody is going to be happy.
And you (and everybody else) will certainly be longing for a return to the days of mediocre or even crappy leaders - Biden, Bush, Obama, Clinton . . . ANYBODY who is limited by the US Constitution, Congress, a free press, and common decency.
Great post except for the last part. Biden has signed executive orders that go directly against the constitution, even admitting to that fact as he is signing the order. He also isn’t limited to a free press as the press gives him a pass a lot of the time, although I will admit they seem to be losing their infatuation with him recently. Decency? Biden is also lacking there. Challenged a reporter to compare IQs, called someone “a fat” which is an interesting grammatical statement, plagiarism, lying about his grades in law school, and you could go on and on.
Might want to pump the brakes with all the simping for the current potus.
Sorry, but your post is extremely stupid and altogether worthless.

On June 1st, 538 started tracking the senate race. There is a reason they didn't start until then. At that point they gave Republicans a 60% chance of taking the senate. By the end of the month, it was already tied.
And that's just a 30 day swing. We have at least another 75 days before people start paying attention to the races.
If you know anything about politics, you know that at this point anything can happen.

Par for the course on this thread. You want to point out the flaws of one potus yet fail to realize Biden has the same flaws. You’re so partisan that you can’t even admit that Biden is a lying old man and isn’t the “awe shuck” nice uncle Joe everyone made him out to be. He’s a career politician who has disregarded the constitution, openly insulted voters and reporters, lies all the time, and has a weird tendency to get close to young kids.
But I understand that you’re not intellectually mature or consistent enough to admit that your guy has flaws of his own. I’d rather be stupid than hopelessly partisan. Go suck an egg.

You listed to right wing media you get turned into an angry moran. Fox news should be banned from military installations. Instead, it's blared all day and night.

and, 'conservatives,' try not to giggle when you claim the election will be about the economy.
We all know the Rs are going to make it about culture war, trying to divide America against itself. Divide and conquer. That's your way of doing politics and it is truly reprehensible.
With jury selection expected to begin on Monday, the Washington Post reports that Steve Bannon is looking at a very brief trial followed by conviction based upon U.S. District Court Judge Carl J. Nichols's rulings and comments to date that seems to suggest the former advisor to Donald Trump may want to work out a deal with prosecutors.
As the Post's Devlin Barrett and Spencer Hsu write, every legal maneuver Bannon and his attorneys have attempted has fallen apart as he has tried to get out from under contempt of Congress charges.
In a telling exchange last week, exasperated Bannon attorney David Shoen asked the judge, “What’s the point of going to trial if there are no defenses?” to which the judge curtly answered, “Agreed.”

Red earthquake?
That is not a phrase bro.
That's the beauty of the written word, we can create and invent new phrases.
Begging for more oil. What a pathetic display of weakness.
If Biden had refused to meet with MBS you would have criticized him even more.
It was the liberals who didn't want that meeting.
Biden made a fool out of himself with the Saudis- and you cannot even admit that. We never had to beg for more oil if the Alzheimer's patient didn't reverse the previous administration's oil policies. This is all Biden's fault.

If you want to ban news that is against your administration then YOU are the authoritarian in this scenario.

Why is Joe Biden participating so much in this "culture war"? He didn't have to issue these executive orders. It's his policy and if it's unpopular that's on him.
