It's too bad that Trump and Pence had a falling out over something as silly as politics. They were once great friends and shared experiences that few people ever have, being 1-2 in American command structure. Sadly, fate intervened, and sullied everything. Pence can't stand Trump. Absolutely despises him. You couldn't put Pence in the same room with Trump at this stage. His bitterness and resentments would spill over and smolder in swill.
I suppose they were always kind of an odd couple. Pence was the uptight fuddy-duddy boring Christian type, and Trump was the flamboyant, celebrity, shake-and-bake, grab-and-go type. But yet, them made it work and bonded over their deep love for god-fearing American freedom. Until politics raised it ugly sword and clove their friendship in two.
Yeah, when one friend tries to have the other friend killed, it puts a damper on the relationship.
The jury acquitted him on a charge that he lied when he allegedly denied he was acting on behalf of any client in alerting the FBI to claims that a secret server linked Trump and a Moscow bank.
If wanting to recreate the best era of life in United States history is a cult, then sign me up. My parents got to live a life I can only dream of. House, two cars and a good manufacturing job capable of supporting the family on one income, count me in. Kids in that generation could goof off through high school and live a pretty stress free life unless you were draft age during Nam. PEDs were pretty much non-existent and athletics were more fair than today. Give me a chance to go in a time machine and tell me to buy Microsoft and Apple in 85 and I would gladly go back to the 70s.
Are you hoping that we move to a system where the president is elected by state legislatures without direct input from the people? Is that what you are saying?
