I would respect Fats more if he would take a bold, forceful stand on pro-life just as he does for EV's and global warming, but alas it's crickets....He's too scared.
Pretty sure there is not a single poster on this thread who would place a non-zero value on having your respect.
From scanning Twitter it looks like the best bet is that British videographer who did some taping of the Trump campaign and family.
If that's it then it means there is something really, really major he caught on film. Otherwise, it could wait.
Also, I've listened to a couple of short interviews with the videographer and I didn't get the impression he had anything explosive.
But it's also possible that the committee put something together between his evidence and other evidence. So maybe the videographer had something major and didn't even know it.
Some reporters are saying it’s Cassidy Hutchinson, aide to meadows. She apparently can prove White House lawyers told trump and others that the fake electors scheme was illegal. If trump and others knew it was illegal and did it anyway….a grand jury would probably indict.

This could be bad for Gaetz and his cohorts. Cass Hutchinson knows about the pardon requests. She can shed light on how much groveling Gaetz did, and how bad he was willing to degrade himself to avoid incarceration in federal clinks.
Is she clean forensically? No boozing on the job? Cavorting? No abortions or part-time stripper antics? She looks relatively wholesome, but looks can be deceiving. Does she have a reputable mainstream religion track record?

I don't think that's enough to warrant an emergency hearing.
But it's possible that Hutchinson could testify that Trump knew that the Proud Boys' were planning to attack the Capitol.
Unlike previous hearings, we don't know the topic for today. We only know that we will hear testimony from former Meadows aide, Cassidy Hutchinson.
Now let's review what we know as of today:
On election night, members of Trump's election staff told him it was too close to call. But Trump instead listened to "Drunk Rudy", who convinced Trump to go out and say he won.
In the weeks to come, Trump would refuse to listen to everyone who told him there was no fraud that could have changed the outcome. He wouldn't listen to his campaign manager. He wouldn't listen to his campaign's top data expert. And he wouldn't listen to Bill Barr, who investigated all the fraud claims and declared the claims were "bull$hit". Even Ivanka knew Trump had lost.
Even though Trump clearly knew he had lost, he promoted the big lie and started plotting a coup.
Leading up to January 6th, Trump and his henchmen tried to pressure state election officials to lie and say that there was fraud or a miscount. For example, in Georgia he pressured the GA Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to simply "find 11,780 votes". In Arizona, Trump tried to pressure the AZ Speaker of the House, Rusty Bowers, to convene a special session of the legislature to sort out election fraud. However, Trump and Drunk Rudy were not able to provide any evidence of such fraud.
There was also a scheme to provide a phony slate of electors from swing states. Trump personally called the head of the RNC to organize Republicans at the state level who prepared fraudulent documents purporting to be from electors pledged to Trump instead of Biden. These fraudulent documents were transmitted to the National Archives. Apparently, the purpose was to create confusion around which slate of electors was valid. A staffer for senator Ron Johnson would attempt to deliver some of these fraudulent documents to Mike Pence just before he entered the Capitol on January 6th.
Part of the effort to overthrow the election was pursued through a corruption of the Department of Justice. After Barr stepped down, Trump called the acting Attorney General, Jeff Rosen. Trump wanted a public statement from DOJ that the election was fraudulent. According to Rosen's notes, Trump said, "Just say it was corrupt and leave the rest to me and the Republican congressmen." But Rosen refused to allow the Justice Department to be used in that way. Then, Trump planned to install a new lackey, Jeffrey Clark, as acting AG to replace Jeff Rosen. This plan failed because Rosen was able to secure a promise of resignation from almost everyone in the upper echelons of DOJ. If Trump followed through with his plan, we would have seen hundreds of resignations and a constitutional crisis.
To understand the background of the January 6th attack, you have to know Trump's plan.
This is outlined in the so-called "Eastman Memo". This is the legal justification for Trump's plan to overturn the election. As we all know, Trump needed Pence to be an arbiter rather than just a vote-counter.
John Eastman, a conservative lawyer working with then-President Donald Trump's legal team, outlined in a two-page memo a scheme to try to persuade then-Vice President Mike Pence to subvert the Constitution and throw out the 2...
Since Pence would not go along with the plan, they needed to get Pence out of the way. The Eastman memo anticipates this contingency. Step 1 of the memo/plan says:
VP Pence, presiding over the joint session (or Senate Pro Tempore Grassley, if Pence recuses himself)
And the memo/plan ends with this dubious legal opinion:
The fact is that the Constitution assigns this power to the Vice President as the ultimate arbiter. We should take all of our actions with that in mind.
Everything done by the Trump team on January 6th was aimed at stopping Pence. If they could get Pence out of the way, he could be replaced with Grassley or someone else who would do their bidding.
By 2:24pm that day, Trump's militia had taken control of the Capitol. Trump got word from Sen. Tommy Tuberville that Pence had been removed from the floor. That's when Trump sent his tweet instructing the militia to kill him.
Trump tweeted:
“Mike Pence didn’t have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution, giving States a chance to certify a corrected set of facts, not the fraudulent or inaccurate ones which they were asked to previously certify. USA demands the truth!” They got the message loud and clear. Video shot just 4 minutes after Trump's tweet featured chants of "Hang Mike Pence".
And news reports confirmed that this was the mob's intention.
Jim Bourg, a Reuters picture editor in Washington, said on Twitter: “I heard at least three different rioters at the Capitol say that they hoped to find Vice-President Mike Pence and execute him by hanging him from a Capitol Hill tree as a traitor. It was a common line being repeated. Many more were just talking about how the VP should be executed.”
One of the Proud Boys even swore in an affidavit that they intended to kill Pence.
"Make no mistake about the fact that the Vice President's life was in danger. A recent court filing by the Department of Justice explains that a confidential informant from the Proud Boys told the FBI that the Proud Boys would have killed Mike Pence if given a chance. This witness, whom the FBI affidavit refers to as W1, stated that other members of the group talked about things they did that day and they said that anyone they got their hands on they would have killed including Nancy Pelosi."
Pence was eventually taken to an underground parking garage where his motorcade was ready to evacuate him. On the way, Pence would pass only 40 feet from the mob. Pence would be encouraged to get into his armored limo, but apparently, he was afraid that his secret service detail would remove him from the Capitol without his consent. Essentially, he was afraid of being kidnapped. So he refused to get in the car.
Pence said to his security detail leader, Tim Giebels:
“Tim, I know you, I trust you, but you’re not the one behind the wheel.”
The January 6th committee will undoubtedly fill in more details. But make no mistake about it. The plan all along was to "Stop the Steal" by stopping the electoral count and stopping Pence.
The attack on the capitol was no accident. It was not a spontaneous demonstration that got out of hand. It was an orchestrated, violent attack intended as a means to keep Trump in power. Trump knew exactly what he was doing when he illegally sent the crowd to the Capitol that day. It was all part of the plan.
Who might this emergency hearing witness be? The suspense is killing me.
Sally take a look at actual real news sources, not right wing funnels. You will, you know, learn stuff that's actually happening.
It's cassidy Hutchinson, aide to mark meadows - trump's chief of staff.
FYI - I haven't watched Fox News in maybe 8 years. I watch mainly MSNBC. I do read all the news sources on line but for TV, mainly Morning Joe, Rachel M., Joy REid and other MSNBC programs. I used to even watch Keith Olbermann who I can't stand.

and yet somehow someway, despite watching mainly MSNBC, you recite all the same right wing lies and mischaracterizations as the most hardened Fox News junkie. All the same one. Go figure!

Are you accusing Sally of lying?
He also says he watched some of the hearings but he can't tell us which part he watched or what he thought of it.
Cass Hutch will testify that Gaetz was pretending to be involved with fake, noncey electors and the 1/6 riots, just so he could get a pardon for the sex charges. But Trump saw right through Gaetz's charade and refused to pardon him for extraneous activity not in furtherance of his duties. Gaetz has a DUI. He was a huge player on the Florida party circuit in the 00s (aughts). Him and Stone. They did the banshee.
Hutch is looking pretty purebred. I'm not finding any booze and blow in her history, no hijinks. It will be difficult to discredit her on the stand or in the media.
Giuliani and Eastman were both drunk. Eastman is a closet drinker, so he hides it well. He can operate while half in the bag. He is stellar under pressure. The Feds accosted him in a restaurant after he had downed a few, and he remained steadfast. He was an anchor in a sea of ducks, and that's why they pay him the big bucks.
