As there will be consequences to losing for Ukraine too. Russia will not stand NATO in Ukraine, and there is literally NOTHING anyone can do to about that.
Just like USA didn't stand Soviets in Cuba and tried to overthrow Fidel many times.
You can bark all you want, but that's how the cookie crumbles.

If Putin makes Ukraine a vassal state, NATO will still be on his border, and that NATO border may even increase if Finland joins. It seems he will lose even if he wins in Ukraine.

Not "vassal". Simply neutral, non-NATO.
Last week, Peskov said Russia would have to "rebalance the situation" with its own measures if Finland and Sweden finally decide to join the alliance.
You can imagine, what "rebalance" means. NATO expansion is finished, unless they're willing to begin a WWIII.
At quantum levels, causality breaks down and definitive states can be indeterminate and unknowable.
That and making sense of that isn't so different from posts hereabouts.
I assure you, causality does not break down at quantum levels. Can you clarify what you mean by definitive states (in terms of solutions to the Schrodinger equation)? What do you mean by indeterminate? As in, we can't solve the eigenvalue problem exactly for the particular system of interest or are you referring to something along the lines of "the wavefunction represents a probability distribution over the entirety of space"? What do you mean by unknowable? I know with great certainty that my refrigerator is going to be exactly where I left it when I come home from work because its wavefunction is very localized in my kitchen.
I assume this all stems from your confusion about the Heisenberg uncertainty principle, which states that the uncertainty in an object's position multiplied by the uncertainty in its momentum is greater than or equal to hbar / 2. Here, hbar is the Planck constant divided by (2 * pi). hbar is on the order 10^(-34) J * s. That's a VERY small number, which is why quantum uncertainty doesn't manifest at macroscopic levels. So, quantum-level uncertainty is literally a very small amount of uncertainty.
When you're in a hole, the first thing you should do is stop digging.
Regurgitating a few minutes of Google research has not prepared you for conversation on Quantum mechanics.
It's cringe.
Like watching a Creationist argue its plausibility with the Second Law of Thermodynamics.
As this is a thread on Ukraine conflict, take your "Win" and move on.

Tough talk from a military that spent the past 50 days bleeding out all over the Ukrainian countryside. Faltering against a country 1/4th your size.
What exactly is Russia going to do if NATO extends membership to Free-Ukraine after Russia steals the east? You going to come at the king with that rinky-dink military of yours?

Article 42.7 of the Treaty on the European Union - to which Finland and Sweden are signatories - states “If a Member State is the victim of armed aggression on its territory, the other Member States shall have towards it an obligation of aid and assistance by all the means in their power..." So, I'm not sure how Russia expects to rebalance the situation (since it hasn't yet balanced the situation in Ukraine) if it's now going to actually engage in direct conflict with the EU member states, and it will have even fewer options for rebalancing once Finland and Sweden join NATO this summer. More lame posturing by Peskov. By the end of the decade, Finland, Sweden, Ukraine and Georgia will all be in NATO and there's nothing Russia can do about it.
Right now “so many many names…” is happy he didn’t post with his registered name “adult in the room” because that was potentially the dumbest post on the entire thread which says a lot.
I am who I am, not that "Adult .. " person. Even if I were you, it would not change the fact that you are happy to exploit people, as long as it provides the money to sustain your "way of life".
You and others who think that I am Russian (is "Adult ..." Russian) and that there are no capitalism, investments and stock market outside "Western world", all base their thinking on premises of expansion and earning more. My premise is that earning and especially expansion should not exist in truly just society. We look at issues from completely different viewpoints. You are fighting for your right to kill, or be killed. I am arguing for peace.
All the people that work for me make more than you do guaranteed. Peace?
You are the one defending Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. It’s even worse if you’re not Russian. It appears you have absolutely no purpose at all.

World War 3 would require a respectable military fighting on both sides. There's no evidence that Russia's current military could win the Battle of France, let alone fight a modern military like the US.
So that just leaves the nuclear weapons that Russia isn't touching. No one is buying that bluff.
This is like saying because you didn't pay 100% tax you paid no tax.
If RT is banned in the Smith family household in Mobile, AL – is it fair to say it is "banned?"
There's obviously a continuum of restrictions that, at some point, crosses the threshold to "banned."
The fact that you can still access the RT website anytime, anywhere in the USA is pretty clear evidence that it's not meeting a reasonable definition of banned. By, by all means, continue crying to distract from Russia getting dominated on the battlefield.

No, but a PhD in applied physics has. Your time as debate team captain and failed career as an RT "journalist" hasn't prepared you for much of anything. Take your loss and move on. Like the Russian army.
So Russia is now focusing their entire military on a tiny region of Ukraine thev're already occupied/supported separatists in for years? And they still can't win? WTF how incompetent can you be?

Carmine, abcdeFU, and ernest have repeatedly demonstrated that it is possible to be VERY incompetent. Mind you, the Russian army still has them beat, but these three are working hard to close the gap.

No reasonable person not aligned with Russia is going to believe that Putin's version of "neutral" will actually be neutral. And Ukraine was non-NATO when Russia invaded and with little chance of becoming a member.
We all enjoy arguing whether RT is banned. Or debating analogies to deterministic qualities of quantum vacuum fluctuations.
But nobody is commenting on the recent Surrender of more than 1000 Ukrainian combatants today in Mariupol (mostly the 36th Marine Brigade) ?
Or why the Ukraine Government refuses to acknowledge this?
Up until now, the UDF and Ukraine Government have been quite open, providing full and factual reporting.
When they disavowed the recent attack on Belgorod, Russia with Tochku-U missiles and attack helicopters, even though there is video of it, I believed the Russians attacked their own fuel facility and city.
In fact, a few days earlier, this was predicted: "Russia is believed to be planning a series of fake attacks on its own cities, with the aim of blaming it on Ukraine..."
While Russians are attacking their own people in false-flag operations, the Ukraine side would never do that. Like strike a train station in a Donbas city. Inconceivable.

Perceived competencies of posters here are not relevant to outcomes of events transpiring in Ukraine.
If you ask the 1000-odd soldiers who just surrendered in Mariupol today, whose Brigade suffered a 100% loss of infantry, they might not have the same Polyanna take as Harambe Et al.
1000 Ukrainians is nothing compared to the 10's of thousands of Russians that have needlessly died in a murderous and aggressive war. Russia will likely slaughter them in frustration. Why leave in defeat when you can just commit heinous war crimes as a sore loser!?

Someone said something like "I can eat only that much steaks ...". I own my flat, I own my car, my business. I owe nothing to a bank. I do not even have credit card. I do have debit card. What would be the pourpose of a human? Offsprings? I did it. Make world a better place? I am trying. Also trying not to hurt anybody in process.
I certainly did hurt some people. Sometimes severely. Even if they do not think they were hurt, it is my hell on earth to think about it.
