No one said there are any, not sure why you're asking?
But to answer that, Brett Gotcher probably did.

"Cleaning up the forum will result in fewer visitors. Fewer visitors means less money made."
I've had conversations with the BroJos and this was always their stance, which is ridiculous.
Have you guys ever been to Deadspin? Reddit? How many people post there a day? Thousands? They both require registration.
What people need to recognize is that you can still be anonymous with registration, it just has more accountability and limits people from posting under multiple handles (which would go a long way).
Elite ZAP Fitness guys (29:00 and lower) get room + board + benefits + $6,000 a year. That's probably worth darn close to $20k if not more.
Can anybody name another forum, that is its industry leader, that doesn't require registration? Heck, I don't know of another forum at all.
For running, Letsrun is IT, and the BroJos are scared people will all of a sudden flee en masse if they require registration. Silly.
I occasionally post on a few financial forums, a body building site and a couple of random blogs. On all of them I am anonymous and have a username and password.

Not to go off topic but there are over 4 million registered users on Reddit. You need to register to post but you can still read all threads without registering. This is what letsrun NEEDS.
Lets compare:
Reddit requires registration to post, but to make an account you don't even need an email adress, its optional. Its quick and easy. If someone reply to you, you will get notified. You can subscribe to 'subs' and somewhat to users.
Implementing something like this, just tailored to letsrun would be amazing. They could if they wanted go all the way and require registration for all that posts, or just start of easy by making an account desirable. It is not at the moment.
Off topic, I know...
Think malmo has defended himself good (as always) against this crap, but I do wonder why there isn't more talk about what happened in AW in this thread? That would be far more interesting...
Malmo why would Alberto admit to you if he knew who A Duck was?

Well, words just fail me.
No one in his right mind thinks that Joan Benoit would have gone that route. And keep in mind that her coach was Bob Sevene.

So many of the doping accusations that get thrown around amount to guilt by association and I don't know the various players well enough to have any idea whether Bob Sevene was more or less likely to be sending his athletes to shady doctors than some other AW coach. That's why some detailed discussion of what was really going on at AW in those years would be of interest to me.
Looks like A Duck has had his bluff called on this one and is now conspicuous by his absence.
He's started plenty of threads in the past having a shot at the Brojos and Malmo. He's knows they'll stay up for just so long before a mod gets to them but it feeds his pathological obsession of having a shot at them for some perceived slight against him. This one's been different, he's had his bluff called.
Al Sal told malmo "he doesn't know "A Duck" and that "A Duck" is not a Nike employee ,and also he doesn't want A Duck to attempt to speak for him.", fair enough but if he doesn't know A Duck how does he know he isn't a Nike employee? Perhaps he means no Nike employee has been authorized to speak on his and Nike's behalf so he doesn't know him?
I suspect he is a Nike employee, the one who's been mentioned numerous times on this thread, without the references to him being pulled by mods or a denial made by them or him. His bluff has been called.
In the overall scheme of things it doesn't matter to the Message Board but I bet Nike would like to know.
This was a major let down. Malmo talking of dropping the bomb then doing nothing and also Aduck going into hiding.
30min wasted reading this.

Yep, A Duck is very familiar with the Bay Area:

Ha! That place is NOT good.

Not rationalized. That's exactly what winstrol does.

As a gesture of good faith he actually read the thread and confronted Steve Bence and confirmed that Bence is NOT A Duck.
A Duck is dome sort of crazy UO grad who is unknown. I doubt that mystery will ever be cracked.

I've been seriously think of going Eric Snowden on the topic and unloading all of the files. I've sorted out all of the loose ends and unanswered questions about Alberto that would lead me to believe he was NOT part of Dick Browns organized drug program at AW, or any other drug program on his own. There's a couple of problems here. First of all I'd have to out several friends and acquaintances, which I've not been willing to do as of yet. Secondly, it will generate a lot of noise that would cloud any attempt at getting the facts correct. There are a lot of people who think they have a clue, but don't. Finally, I find it really annoying that anonymous twits keep asking to answer their circular logic constructed questions, as if they have a vested stake in the details. Playing games with a bunch of demanding children won't do the topic justice. I'm going to start preparing the information in a presentable form anyway.
Malmo,
We are both over 50 and we are posting on this thread on Letsrun.

So am I. History needs to be presented and discussed.

Reddit has had serious problems despite requiring registration. They had a group of hundreds of Neo Nazis/White power people who manipulated every thread about race (and were eventually banned), have had more than one group of pedophiles, a lot of obvious corporate promotion, etc. Registration might fix some of the issues on Letsrun, but it certainly wouldn't cure all of them.
Agree with you about AW though. I'm not sure why anyone cares who A Duck is -- it's not going to be someone well known.

Some of you NOP trolls should read this part again, and then again.

Sorry man, wasn't trying to annoy you with that questions, just god the feeling that this had been discussed previously on letsrun (some comments hinted to that) and was curious what it was all about.
To be honest, it would be nice if threads like these were locked in such a way only certain people could talk. An invite only thread if you will.
There could still be a regular thread to discuss the discussion, but there is a lot of stupid stuff to wade through in this.
Will be interesting to see what, if any, information comes of this.

What if mods could mark certain threads so that only registered posters could post? So threads like this one, or the official race threads, wouldn't get filled up with so much garbage. I don't think that would be too hard to implement.
