During the Bosnian Civil War there were some villages that were cut off from the rest of the world because the roads leading in were blocked by someone's military. One of these villages was desperately in need of medical supplies. Chris was living in Cypress at the time and went to Bosnia where he strapped a backpack filled with medical supplies on and ran the supplies into the village.
When I last saw him, maybe three years ago, he was travelling through Asia and Africa helping to arrange transport to some hospital in New York City for Asian and African kids who are blind or near blind and may be able to get help at that particualr hospital.
